Welcome to On Assignment By God, a brand created by God during one of my early morning prayer conversations with Him.

My name is Fon Strong James and I am the founder and CEO of Encouragement Ink International, LLC, where our mission is to encourage the nations through Christ-centered print, mentorships, and apparel.

I write the daily blog here at OABG and I am a four-time published author of two Christian Fiction novels and two non-fiction books: Permission Slips: Getting God’s Permission in Love, Work, and Life; and The 1 Hour Prayer Challenge Book and Journal.

What started off as an assignment from God telling me to share our conversations from my prayer closet, has now leveled up to the On Assignment By God (OABG) brand, which includes the OABG Blog, OABG Podcast, and OABG YouTube Channel.

When Holy Spirit said for me to share our conversations so He could use me through my writing/speaking to encourage others, I fully surrendered to His plan.

I am also the founder of Encouragement Ink Discovery & Educational Center, a 501c3 non profit organization; and Encouragement Ink International, a for-profit kingdom business, where I am a kingdom entrepreneur who simply obeys God in ALL my business endeavors.
