Don't Compromise One Bit!

Welcome to this Saturday morning’s blog! Y’all know I love Saturdays, even though today really seems like it could be any other day. LOL! But seriously, it’s like my body knows that government offices are closed. LOL! That’s how you know it’s really Saturday. LOL!
So this morning (coming off of yesterday’s Fire Friday Revival) was amazing! I love when I can just come out of the prayer closet and pray all over my house in the Spirit. Do you do that? If you haven’t, then try it. I know you’re probably thinking that you don’t want to wake up the house, and I totally understand. But you do know you can whisper pray while walking around the house, right? The point is just to take the presence of God all over the house and into every room. Yes the bathroom and laundry room too! LOL!
This morning I used my Prayers That Rout Demons book. Now y’all know that’s one of my go-to books for praying prayers in the natural after I pray in the Spirit. But this morning, after a conversation I had with a friend last night, I prayed a few prayers that I really felt were necessary. That’s why I really like the book, because it helps me to pray certain things that I wouldn’t otherwise know to pray or it helps me to articulate the prayer. Like for instance, I prayed:
Let all spirits rooted in rejection come out in the name of Jesus,
Let all spirits rooted in pride come out in the name of Jesus.
Let all spirits rooted in fear come out in the name of Jesus.
Evil spirits leave my life as I hear and speak the Word (Matthew 8:16)
I renounce all ungodly thought patterns and belief systems in the name of Jesus.
I just wanted to share some examples of the prayers because when I first started praying and growing deeper into relationship with Holy Spirit, I lacked knowledge. It was important for me to learn how to pray effectively. Now praying in the Spirit is super effective because it’s the Holy Spirit using YOU to pray in unknown tongues. When I pray in the Spirit, I am praying for things that I don’t even know about. I know that’s effective and powerful praying! The limits are taken off when I pray in the Spirit!
Okay, I wanted to share that with you all, but now let’s move. Here’s what the Holy Spirit said to me in my conversation with Him this morning:
I am protecting you.
I am working out the kinks.
I am renewing minds.
Only when you deal with sin, can you move forward and be established to receive all the blessings I have for you.
Don’t compromise My Word or My Way.
Compromising could lead to catastrophe.
Now y’all know your girl had to look up compromise because I am a word nerd like that. Plus it helps me to see how else Holy Spirit wants to speak to me about this.
Compromise means to accept standards that are lower than is desirable. So that means, Holy Spirit is saying: Don’t accept standards that are lower than is desirable of Me and My Word!! You see what happens when you take an extra step after you listen and write down what you hear during prayer time? Revelation is waiting for us when we take that extra step!
When I flipped open the Bible, I turned to the last page of Ezra and the introduction page of Nehemiah. One thing I learned as I read the introduction page from my Tony Evans Study Bible is that the book of Nehemiah is about making wrong things right! Whoa right? Doesn’t that sound like a movie or book you want to watch or read? Yeah whomever said the Bible is boring has never actually read it. I used to say that myself, but that was before I got a Bible that I could understand, but also that was before I committed to living a righteous life. Speaking of living a righteous life, that I was one of my prayers this morning…for my family and friends to have a desire to live righteously for the Kingdom of God.
That’s definitely something we shouldn’t compromise one bit on.
