Don't Be So Hard On Yourself! Ask God for Wisdom.

Waking up super early and going to bed late will catch up with you!
This morning as I rolled out of bed sleepier than ever, I prayed. Prayer is necessary y’all and my lack of sleep can’t be the reason why I didn’t do what I have been commanded to do. In every area of life that we have created, like jobs and careers, we always find a way to muster up the strength to be there. Well when you are all about your Father’s business (your Father in heaven), then you push yourself all the more (or at least you should).
As I prayed this morning, I asked for wisdom and of course I flipped my bible right open to Proverbs. Well that proves Matthew 7:7 where it says ask , and it shall be given to you. And yeah I know I have asked for wisdom before, but I don’t think there is a limit on asking for wisdom because we need it every single day. As a matter of fact, the New Living Translation of Matthew 7:7 says: “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for.” So there ya go!
When I pray, I do a lot of thanking God. This morning, I thanked the Lord for making hard things simple and that’s when He said to me:
Give it ALL to Me. Daily.
Let go of the control.
The outcomes will be in your favor because of your obedience. Trust Me.
It’s not going to be hard.
I went searching for scripture.
I found Ecclesiastes 7:29 which says in the Good News Translation: This is all that I have learned: God made us plain and simple, but we have made ourselves very complicated.
The wisdom for this morning: Don’t make life so hard on yourself, God didn’t make us that way.
Proverbs 10:17 says: The one who follows instruction is on the path to life, but the one who rejects correction goes astray.
Let’s stop making obedience hard. Let’s stop making assignments by God harder than they are. Let’s stop making life so hard. The Holy Spirit told me that it’s not going to be hard, so I am simply going to believe that and live that!
Proverbs 10:22 CSB says: The Lord’s blessing enriches and he adds no painful effort to it.
The NIRV translation makes it plain: The blessing of the Lord brings wealth. And it comes without painful work.
We must rebuke the spirit of trying to be in control of it all and the evil spirit of stubbornness. I pray that you be encouraged to seek wisdom from God daily, knowing and believing in your heart that He will give it to you.
Wisdom is the willingness and ability to apply spiritual truths to life’s realities. ~ Hope Words from the Dr. Tony Evans Study Bible
SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
