WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT (PSA)!!!

Attention Attention!!

I am writing this blog to remind you about your power. When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He came to live on the inside of you. Because you live in Him and He lives in you, you have God’s power!

Yes, I figured you didn’t know it by the way you have been acting in your own strength. You know, acting all like you can accomplish it all, but then feeling burnt out. And then I saw when you got mad because you felt so weak and so helpless. You felt like you wanted to quit. Today, I want to remind you that when you are weak, Jesus Christ is strong in you!

Wait, you still don’t believe me? Okay bet. Let’s go to 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Each time he said, “My gracious favor is all you need. My power works best in your weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 New Living Translation

Now that you know how powerful you REALLY are with Jesus Christ, stop allowing your weaknesses to fool you. This morning, I heard the Holy Spirit say: YOU HAVE MY POWER ON THE INSIDE OF YOU! So even at your weakest moments, you are to be reminded that I work best in your weakness. I don’t want you depending on you anyway. I want you depending on Me (Your Lord and Savior) for it all, even the stuff that you think you can handle on your own.

Let us all be encouraged this morning with this announcement. Paul reminded the church at Corinth in 2 Corinthians that God wants us to be built up, not torn down. Often times when we feel weak we feel torn down. But we must not let the enemy make us think of our weaknesses as a negative thing. We must know without a doubt that when we are weak, we are actually STRONG because of the power of Jesus Christ on the inside of us! So don’t let your weaknesses fool you!

I want to end this PSA like Paul did in 2 Corinthians 13:11:

Rejoice. Change your ways. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace.

THEN, the God of love and peace will be with you!

The one thing we must also be reminded of, is to repent and turn from our sinful ways. God CAN and God WILL help you be strong in every area of your life! Invite Him into every area. Yes, even that one! We are never too weak to say…HELP ME JESUS.

If you’re not a believer and have a desire to be, openly confess and declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer out loud, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community and start having a conversation through prayer with God every day.
