Doors! Fon

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” — ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:1‬‬ AMP

I wrote this scripture down this morning. It just came to me as I was praying.

Then I just listened for the Lord to speak.

I audibly heard doors opening but the doors sounded like they were old and needed WD40.

I discerned the voice of God saying: Doors are opening. Walk in with Me only.

I didn’t know what that meant so I asked Holy Spirit.

Yesterday, while teaching my son his writing lesson, I told him to come up with another word for old and he said ancient.

The Lord brought that moment back to my remembrance and I went looking for the scripture about ancient doors!!

“Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in.” — ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭24:7‬‬ AMP

Woooooow!!!

So I kept reading and even when back a verse:

“This is the generation (description) of those who diligently seek Him and require Him as their greatest need, Who seek Your face, even [as did] Jacob. Selah.

Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in.

Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O gates, And lift them up, ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in.

Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies]. Selah.” — ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭24:6-10‬‬ AMP

I went to other translations to see how else this scripture is translated:

“So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you.” — ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭24:7‬‬ TPT

“Wake up, you sleepyhead city! Wake up, you sleepyhead people! King-Glory is ready to enter.” — ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭24:7‬‬ MSG

“Fling wide the gates, open the ancient doors, and the great king will come in.” — ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭24:7‬‬ GNT

The Great King

24 The world and all that is in it belong to the Lord;
the earth and all who live on it are his.
He built it on the deep waters beneath the earth
and laid its foundations in the ocean depths.

Who has the right to go up the Lord's hill?
Who may enter his holy Temple?
Those who are pure in act and in thought,
    who do not worship idols
    or make false promises.
The Lord will bless them and save them;
    God will declare them innocent.
Such are the people who come to God,
who come into the presence of the God of Jacob.

Fling wide the gates,
    open the ancient doors,
and the great king will come in.
Who is this great king?
He is the Lord, strong and mighty,
    the Lord, victorious in battle.

Fling wide the gates,
    open the ancient doors,
and the great king will come in.
10 Who is this great king?
The triumphant Lord—he is the great king!

I’m just in awe of how the Lord speaks. 😍

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
