Faith-FULL Fon

Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. — 1 Corinthians 4:2 ESV

This morning in my conversation with Holy Spirit I heard these words:

  • Found faithful

  • When it feels like you’re losing faith, choose to build faith.

  • Faith isn’t a feeling, it’s a choice.

  • Choose faith daily.

  • Believe daily.

  • Don’t allow feelings to fuel you.

  • Allow faith in Me to fuel you.

  • Fear will fool you.

  • Faith will fuel you!

  • Choose to be faith-FULL

As I was writing down this conversation with Holy Spirit, my mind went to the gas station, and I thought about Faith Fill-Ups. Remember as a teenager when you didn’t have a whole lot of money and you were working your little job. You used to get $2 on pump 2. You were getting $2 worth of gas? Oh I’m by myself today on that? I know I am not. LOL! Some of us have $2 worth of faith in our tanks. That’s mustard seed equivalent to me! But all that matters is…we got some in the tank though right!

I thought about what Holy Spirit was saying regarding me being faith-FULL. That means I got to choose to put faith in my tank daily. And it doesn’t matter if it’s regular faith, medium faith, or super faith. I got to fill-up on faith daily! I got to keep my faith tank on full! FAITH-FULL!

So how can I do that? Well my bible says in Romans 10:17 NLT

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. — Romans 10:17 NLT

That means listening to the Word of God! See that’s why that assignment number 3 (see below) is always going to be one of our assignments. We must read the Word of God out loud and to hear ourselves, we simply record ourselves! Who cares how you feel about what you sound like! Faith is not a feeling. It’s a choice.

Well what is faith?

According to my bible in Hebrews 11:1:

Faith means being sure of the things we hope for. And faith means knowing that something is real even if we do not see it. — Hebrews 11:1 ICB (this is the International Children’s Bible)

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.  — Hebrews 11:1 TLB

Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.  — Hebrews 11:1 TPT

I love all of these translations of Hebrews 11:1, but how can we know that we are being found faithful? How can we know if we are Faith-FULL? Check out Matthew 9:29!

Then Jesus put his hands over their eyes and said, “You will have what your faith expects!” — Matthew 9:29 TPT

Then Jesus touched their eyes and said, “You believe that I can make you see again. So this will happen.” — Matthew 9:29 ICB

Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith it will happen.” — Matthew 9:29 TLB

This is how you know! IT HAPPENED! What you were being faithful or faith-full for…HAPPENED!

P.S. I just love my Conversations With God! Don’t you?

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
