People are in a panic. Shelves are bare of basics. But when you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, I heard the Holy Spirit say this morning, you are faithfully unfazed.

What are your actions showing in the midst of chaos? Are you faithfully unfazed or are you allowing false evidence to appear real?

This morning the Holy Spirit said to replace fear with faith. The Hope Words in my Tony Evans Study Bible confirmed it by saying:

Don’t forget that God is calling us to put into practice on Monday the truth that we said “amen” to on Sunday. ~ Hope Words from Tony Evans Study Bible.

The Lord said in my conversation this morning, Look for me in every situation you see. Search until you find Me in it. Don’t stop looking for Me in the situation. Don’t stop looking for Me in the circumstance. Don’t stop looking for Me in the midst of it all.

As I flipped open my Bible so that the Holy Spirit could speak to me through the Scriptural Surprise, I landed in Luke chapter 7 where it talks about the Centurion’s faith. The Study notes said that this man had a high view of Jesus and a humble view of himself. Go read Luke 7, verses six through nine. What stood out was his faith. And Jesus was amazed at him. So much so, that Jesus said to the crowd that was following Him in Luke 7, verse 9, “I tell you, I have not found so great a faith even in Israel.”

With all the pandemic going on in our world today, where will Jesus find you and your faith? I pray He finds you praising Him. I pray He finds you confessing Psalm 91, specifically in verse 10 where it says:

and no terrible disasters will strike you or your home. (Psalm 91:10 Contemporary English Version

No matter what you see on the news, the enemy is already defeated. Often times the enemy will “look” like he is winning, but he’s not winning. We are victorious in Christ Jesus!

Let us as believers not be found in panic about the pandemic, let us be found faithfully unfazed knowing the Greater One who has all power in heaven and on earth is within us! And let us share our faith during these times with those who need it most. When people say, why aren’t you rushing out to buy tissue, you can say because I have faith that God will supply all my needs. Plus I already have tissue, praise the Lord! LOL!

Again, let us be found by the Lord faithfully unfazed; and let’s let our light shine for others to see that we have faith in Jesus Christ, where every sickness has to bow down to His name!

Meditate on God’s Word today and don’t get caught up in the world news:

Every God-begotten person conquers the world's ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith. The person who wins out over the world's ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God.

1 John 5:4 MSG
