Now is the time to utilize everything we have been studying, learning, and building up as believers. As I was praying this morning, I felt my body get into this position of authority and I heard the Holy Spirit say, stand firm and flat-footed. I felt all of my tens toes touch the floor as if they were attaching themselves one by one. I felt the heels of my feet plant deeper into the floor. I could see in my spiritual imagination a battleground where I was planted. I was standing there firm, confident, and with bold authority! I had a stance of faith! I had a stance of victory! I had the stance of a champion!

When I came out of the prayer closet this morning, I wrote down what I had heard the Holy Spirit say, which was: stand firm and flat-footed. I decided for some reason to look up flat-footed, and got all these definitions about clumsy and awkward. I was like, nah, this definitely ain’t what the Holy Spirit was talking about. I knew in my spirit that it meant stand firm, be immovable, and don’t back down for nayun! Okay that last part was me putting my cultural spin on it. By the way, nayun means no one. LOL!

1 Corinthians 15:58
"Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord."

But I felt this sense of strength that there is nothing that can come against me because I am standing firm in my faith and in my power that the Lord God has given me. I have authority to bind things and loose things! Jesus said I have this authority. It’s in Matthew 16:19 and Matthew 18:18:

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19 (NIV)

“And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven.” Matthew 16:19 (The Message)

"And so I tell all of you: what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. Matthew 18:18 (Good News Translation)

With all that’s going on in the world, we as believers must take the lead and stand firm. Ten toes down. Not backing down. Knowing that we have on the WHOLE ARMOR of God.

There is nothing that can threaten us and succeed.

Ephesians 6:13
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."

I encourage you to stand firm. Remember everything that you have learned as a believer. Have faith in knowing that God has given you everything you need. He did not leave you hanging!

Hearts and Hugs!!
