God Doesn’t Lie

As I talked to Holy Spirit this morning during my prayer time, I couldn’t help but to be grateful. You see, God has answered my prayers so many times and I was just so thankful!
That’s when I heard Holy Spirit say: I will do just what I said. Review my record. Check your answered prayers. I will do what I said. I will do what you asked and prayed for, according to My Will.
God is not a man, so he does not lie.
He is not human, so he does not change his mind.
Has he ever spoken and failed to act?
Has he ever promised and not carried it through? — Numbers 23:19 NLTGod isn’t a mere human. He can’t lie. He isn’t a human being. He doesn’t change his mind. He speaks, and then he acts. He makes a promise, and then he keeps it. — Numbers 23:19 NIRV
When I looked at the NIRV translation of this scripture, I thought about how in Genesis 1:27 where it says God created us in his own image. That means we shouldn’t lie either. That means when we speak, we should act. When we make a promise, we should keep it.
Now of course we ARE humans, but when we accept Jesus Christ, as our personal Lord and Savior, Holy Spirit comes to live on the inside of us. Our obedience to God’s will and guidance from Holy Spirit can help us to be more like God in our daily actions.
Let us continue to pray God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let us be encouraged to be more like our Lord and Savior by keeping our word; by not lying; and by doing just what HE SAID do, in our conversations with Him.

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
