WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

Good Morning!

This morning I prayed and then I read Psalms 73. The verse that really stood out to me was 24. It says, “You will keep on guiding me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.” I was sitting with my journal and I could hear the Holy Spirit saying stop trying to figure everything out.

The conversation went something like this:

Me: Lord I trust you (but in my mind, I still was wondering how this would work and how that would work).

Holy Spirit: Let go of trying to figure it out.

Me: I just want to know some details Lord, but I really really do trust you.

Holy Spirit: Let me surprise you Fon. You said you like when I blow your mind. And you even asked me to blow your mind.

Me: I knoooooow. For whatever reason, I am struggling with just letting go this morning. Help me to let go.

Holy Spirit: Okay, bring it to me again. This time, drop it at my feet, and go do what I have assigned you to do. When you get busy doing what I have assigned you, you won’t be so consumed with trying to figure out what I have already figured out. Don’t waste time trying to figure out any details on this, when I have you working over there on that!!!!

Me: Thank you Holy Spirit. I know exactly what to be working on. I know that everything I am thinking about is already handled and it’s a waste of my time to be thinking about what you already KNOW will happen! I am fully surrendering to your plan for me.

Holy Spirit: That’s my daughter. I love you so much. Everything you want, I want for you too. When you ask me for it, trust that it is yours. That’s the main detail you need to know is… IT IS ALREADY YOURS!

When we walk hand and hand with the Father, we can let go of our cares, curiosities, and concerns. He totally got it all figured out already. And the good news is that…He is going to blow our minds!

SALVATION PRAYER

If you’re not a believer and have a desire to be, openly confess and declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
