I Got It! Fon

I had the most amazing weekend!!! I honestly wanted to sleep in this morning, but that’s totally not an option especially after the kind weekend I had!!

Now if you listened to the blogcast from Saturday, remember the Holy Spirit told me to stop accepting things as is and use the power within, right? You did listen to that episode right? Okay good!

In that episode, the Lord reminded us that we have the power within us to heal. We aren’t just to pray for healing, but we are to actually heal!

So I finish up the blogcast and head to an all-day homeschool parent practicum. I get there (a little late) and I end up sitting at a table with two people I already knew and four people I didn’t know. During the first hour, we were assigned a task to think about how we wanted our homeschool year to go (i.e. our desires, goals, etc.), then we were to go around the table and pray.

Okay let’s get to the prayer part. We went around and several women mentioned a desire to be healed either with themselves or their children. After we prayed, guess who prompted me to speak up about this very blogcast…Holy Spirit!! At first I was like…but Lord you literally JUST TOLD ME that we are to heal. Don’t I need to study more or pray more or do more? I felt His prompting so strongly. So I interrupted the table talk and said, can I say something? They encouraged me to go ahead.

I tell them about My Conversation With God. One of the Moms that I knew even gave the blogcast a verbal thumbs up, which really warmed my heart. After telling them about my conversation, the Holy Spirit prompted me to take action right then with one of the moms who had been experiencing back and arm pain.

Guess what? We did exactly what Jesus instructed us to do…HEAL! And she was healed right there at that table! At the end of the conference, she testified to me that she felt no more pain!!!!

I was in awe of God!! I mean complete awe of Him! Here He was putting me right next to a woman who needed healing and at a table with other women believers who needed reminders to use the power within!!! My mind was blown yall!

But guess what else? I had prayed that morning and asked God for an encounter with Him! And He gave me what I asked for!

This morning as I was talking to Him about it He said:

When you asked, you received. Notice that you asked, expected it, and then received it. You believed you would receive it, so it happened as you believed.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. — Matthew 7:7-8 NIV

Be encouraged this morning to ask God and then be encouraged to believe that you will get what you ask for!

Fast forward to Sunday. I attended a church I never been to before after a friend invited me. I am just going to tell you that this blogcast space is not even big enough nor am I able to write enough to tell you about the most amazing God encounter I had at this church. Let’s just say that the bishop who delivered the message said every thing I needed to hear during the sermon and the prophetic word that He gave me directly! I was once again mind blown!

But guess what? That morning, I had prayed and asked God for an encounter with Him at the church! Whew! What an encounter!

As I was preparing today’s episode, I was sipping my coffee and looked up and noticed on my vision board (which is right above my desk), a cut out from a magazine that said: Whatever you have established that you are in prayer, that is what you are, even before you see it!

Today Holy Spirit wanted to show me that He hears and answers my prayers. He also wanted to show me that immediate activation of His Word is a miracle moment waiting on my obedience!

I encourage you today to ask God for an encounter with Him. Instead of asking for the house, the car, the raise, the money, the whatever you think you want…ask for an encounter with Him! That’s the best ask ever!

P.S. I just love my Conversations With God! Don’t you?

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
