More In-Depth Conversations Fon

Prayer time was a bit different this morning. My daughter has a lecture today at a local university and I woke up a bit later than I wanted to (hello SLEEP!), but as soon I my eyes opened I began to pray in the bed, and then as I made my way to the shower and as I got ready. I was praying the entire time. Then I grabbed my journal and discerned the voice of God saying:

  • When I reveal it, talk to Me more about it, so I can tell you what to do with it.

  • Dig Deeper

  • Seek More

  • In-Depth Conversations

  • I’m revealing deep mysteries

My mind went straight to that Jeremiah 33:3 scripture:

Call on me in prayer and I will answer you. I will show you great and mysterious things that you still do not know about.’ — Jeremiah 33:3 NET

But there were two more scriptures that I am sure the Lord wanted me to see:

He floods the darkness with light, even the dark shadow of death. — Job 12:22 TLB

He reveals mysteries from the darkness and brings the deepest darkness into the light. — Job 12:22 CSB

He said, “You have been given a teachable heart to perceive the secret, hidden mysteries of God’s kingdom realm. But to those without a listening heart, my words are merely stories. Even though they have eyes, they are blind to the true meaning of what I say, and even though they listen, they won’t receive full revelation. — Luke 8:10 TPT

Both of these scriptures were like a continuation of yesterday’s conversation with Holy Spirit. The Lord is showing us things, but do we have a teachable heart to perceive the secret, hidden mysteries of God’s kingdom realm or are we out here blind to what’s really going on? Are we too pre-occupied with the world? Let’s check ourselves!!

Now I want to mention this. A few things I learned this morning is that no matter what I am doing, if I am talking (praying) to the Lord, He is listening and He knows that no matter what I am doing, I will pause with a pen in hand to listen to Him. That means He knows I am paying attention and He can tell me things that I don’t know.

Now I know to ASK him more about things that He reveals to me vs just writing it down. He wants us to have MORE in-depth conversations! That means I am already having more in-depth conversations with Holy Spirit!! Hallelujah!

P.S. I just love having in-depth and revealing conversations with the Lord! Don’t you?

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
