WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

Jesus is Lord!!! Praise His Holy name! Take a moment, raise your hands and give the Lord praise for the breath He gave us this morning!! Praise Him! Get up and just thank Him for WHO He is in your life!

This morning, I am writing the blog with music playing and I just had the visual that my keys are piano keys. I am wishing now that I had stuck with piano lessons, but the Lord just made me giggle when He said…I got your fingers on the right keys Fon! LOL!! COME ON JESUS! My keys are on a keyboard, moving to the tap tap tap of my fingers, and flowing like music to the sound of the Holy Spirit!

I am in such a beaming mood this morning and I went to bed kinda late! But I got up feeling mighty good…thanks to the Lord above!!

So what did me and the Holy Spirit talk about this morning….a subject that always makes me beam. LOVE!

I prayed in the Spirit and then I opened my Bible to Song of Songs. Have you ever read this book of the Bible? It’s mighty saucy y’all. I mean like a romance novel, and while it shows the love of a man and a woman, it also reflects the love that Jesus has for us. I have done a few blogs on it before, but I love when the Holy Spirit sends me back to something I have read before. It means He has something NEW to say to me about it. This morning the verse that stood out was Song of Songs 2:7

Promise me, O women of Jerusalem, by the gazelles and wild deer, not to awaken love until the time is right. Song of Songs 2:7 New Living Translation

The Holy Spirit said to me, don’t awaken love until the time is right. Don’t awaken love until it is ready. Everything will happen at my pace and in my timing. Don’t get ahead of me My love. Be ready. Be working. When you do what I have asked you to do, you will be rewarded. Allow everything to unfold with my guidance. I will guide your every step. When you go at My pace, you will have My grace. You will have peace at My pace.

I love the Lord so much because He always gives me what I need…His unfailing love. It’s like He winks at me and lets me know that He hasn’t forgotten. The Song of Songs is such a beautiful love story and if you haven’t read it, definitely go read it. There is also a 7-Day Song of Songs devotional on the YouVersion Bible App that really helps you get a deeper understanding of this book of the bible. It’s so much wisdom in this book!
