The Must-Do List! Fon

Sometimes... okay most times, we can allow life to get us overwhelmed, overworked, stressed out, tired, etc. We come to God in prayer asking what to do on this situation or that situation.

This morning the Holy Spirit said: When you don’t know what to do or how to make your next moves, always go back to My Commandments.

“Teacher,” he asked, “which is the most important commandment in the Law?”

“Jesus replied, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Love him with all your mind.’ ( Deuteronomy 6:5 ) This is the first and most important commandment. And the second is like it. ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ ( Leviticus 19:18 ) Everything that is written in the Law and the Prophets is based on these two commandments.”— ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:36-40‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

“Teacher, which command in God’s Law is the most important?” Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.” — Matthew 22:36-40 MSG

The Holy Spirit was letting me know this morning that these two things are the most important.

We are to go back to the only 2 Must-Do’s!

Everything is based on these two commandments!

Feeling overwhelmed with YOUR list like I have been? Put God’s commandments on the top of your list! His commandments are the must-do’s on the list!! Do what God says do and everything else will flow from that place of obedience.

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
