WHAT DID MY LORD GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING?

My Daily Conversations With God

🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽What an amazing and awesome morning of prayer and time spent with Holy Spirit!!! I didn’t even make it to the prayer closet this morning y’all! The Praise and Worship music kept me in my bedroom and the Holy Spirit took over soon as my feet hit the floor! I began to praise Him through Worship. It was such a beautiful time spent with my Lord and Savior this morning. Singing. Praising. Worshipping. Praying in my heavenly language. Interceding on behalf of others. Worshipping some more. Laying on my face and surrendering my life. Repenting for my sins. Tears. One nostril stopped up. Full on crying with thanksgiving continuously coming out of my mouth.

I gave the Lord every bit of Me this morning. The more I gave, the more I had to give. It just kept flowing out of me! Wooo! I love every morning, but these kind of mornings are my favorites. It’s the intimate moments with Holy Spirit where I feel His presence all over me. Oh what a morning.

Okay.

So what did Me and Holy Spirit actually talk about after all of THAT?

Well I opened my Bible for the Scriptural Surprise to 1 Kings 8-9 and it was there that the Lord illuminated some specifics for me:

• Be carefully obedient.

• For some things to be established, I need for you to be carefully obedient.

• What I have planned and promised YOU will require careful obedience.

• I will bring My promises and plans in My perfect timing.

• I alone am God. No one can do what I do.

• To receive My promises you must take care to walk before me in faithfulness.

As I was listening and writing, it got me to thinking about my own personal walk. How are we WALKING before the Lord in our daily lives. Are we walking before Him in fear or in faith. I pray we are careful to walk before Him in Faith!  In Romans 10:17, it says:

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10:17

What are we listening to as we walk physically? Because whatever we are listening to, we will have faith in that. Are we listening to uplifting podcasts like this one? Are we listening to sermons via podcasts? Are we listening to songs that strengthen our faith? How are we walking before the Lord?

When I looked at different translations of 1 Kings 8:25, which is the scripture that backs up what the Holy Spirit said about “taking care to walk before me in faithfulness,” the Contemporary English Version really drove the point home for me. So if I take what the Holy Spirit said to me and use the part of that translation for that verse, it will be this: To receive My promises Fon, you must do your best to obey Me.

So I asked myself, am I doing MY VERY BEST to obey God?

I can truly say, every day I am seeking to please Him and obey Him in my all my actions. I think being mindful and intentional can help us all walk in faithfulness and walk in obedience.
