WHAT DID MY LORD GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING?

God always provides what I need when I need it. Do you agree? Think back to the last time you needed something and didn’t utter a word to anyone and next thing you know, you got what you needed. What about a time when you wanted something (didn’t actually need it), and it showed up out of nowhere?

This morning, the Holy Spirit encouraged my heart. And y’all I really needed that. Now of course we had a conversation too, but the encouragement though was EVERYTHING! And to be honest, even in the conversation His words were encouraging:

• Keep following my instructions until I give new instructions on the matter (this was encouraging me not to doubt because I wasn’t hearing anything new).

• When you do the assignments as they are assigned to you, you won’t be overwhelmed (this was encouraging me not to procrastinate or hesitate).

• Whatever I said I will do, I WILL DO IT! (this was encouraging me to go back and read what He already said He would do; what He already said was mine; what He already told me would happen).

• Speak to it. Say what I tell you to say. Be bold and be confident. (this was encouraging me to not shy back from speaking what He tells me to speak. And also not to overthink it).

• I am restoring it ALL. That means it will be better THAN IT EVER WAS!!

Now that last one makes me tear up. If you have been reading the blog or listening to the podcast for any amount of time, then you know there are desires in my heart. If this is your first time reading or listening, then know that there are some desires in my heart. A strong desire for a God-ordained relationship that glorifies Him. I want nothing more than to honor God with my relationship, with my work, and with my life. When I look back over the last year of my life, when I fully surrendered, I can actually see Him doing just that…RESTORING MY LIFE better than it ever was. See you can’t just look at the major thing, you have to see the details of every thing the Lord is doing. That’s where your encouragement is built up.

Today, I want to encourage you to take a look at all the ways that the Lord has been encouraging you. Even when I wasn’t fully surrendered, I can write down how He was encouraging me to do JUST THAT. To let go of things that weren’t of Him. He was encouraging me to do that all along. And based on our conversation this morning and the love I felt while spending intimate time with Him, He is married to His Word, which means that desires of My Heart are coming soon. I am so encouraged this morning!

I can hear the Holy Spirit saying…keep being obedient, it’s coming soon.
