Who’s Guiding You to Your Next? Fon

Are you an over thinker? Do you be all in your head having thoughts like: How will I do this? When will I do this? Who will help me do this? Is this even possible for me to pull off? Can I do this?

Well in prayer this morning, Holy Spirit said to me: Get out of your head and be led. I will guide you every step of the way…even in areas where you feel you’ve already mastered it. I will guide you to your next. Surrender and let me lead.

Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. — Romans 8:14 NIRV

The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. — Romans 8:14 TPT

Instead of overthinking or trying to figure out, we are to allow Holy Spirit to lead us. John 16:13 says:

But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own. He will speak only what he hears. And he will tell you what is still going to happen. — John 16:13 NIRV

Holy Spirit also guides us away from sin according to Galatians 5:16:

So I say, live by the Holy Spirit’s power. Then you will not do what your desires controlled by sin want you to do. — Galatians 5:16 NIRV

Holy Spirit guides us to the will of God:

I just want to obey all you ask of me. So teach me, Lord, for you are my God. Your gracious Spirit is all I need, so lead me on good paths that are pleasing to you, my one and only God! — Psalms 143:10 TPT

Holy Spirit anoints us for the mission God sent us here for:

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me. He has anointed me to announce the good news to poor people. He has sent me to announce freedom for prisoners. He has sent me so that the blind will see again. He wants me to set free those who are treated badly. — Luke 4:18 NIRV

And here’s the thing, when we believed in Jesus Christ, we received Holy Spirit. He is the seal of our salvation. He lives on the inside of us and when we pray, He intercedes for us. That’s why we pray in the Spirit.

Christ Jesus set us free so that the blessing given to Abraham would come to the Gentiles through Christ. He did it so that we might receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. The promised Spirit comes by believing in Christ. — Galatians 3:14 NIRV

They were all filled and equipped with the Holy Spirit and were inspired to speak in tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned! — Acts 2:4 TPT

If you’re a believer in Jesus Christ, then Holy Spirit is your guide! God’s Spirit is with us each and every day. We invite Him to lead us through prayer every morning.

As Holy Spirit said this morning, let’s get out of our heads and be led by Him.

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
