Welcome to the OABG Daily Blog and Podcast!
You know it’s going to be a great day full of God’s favor and grace and supernatural when you wake up dragging! Now I know, you’re like wait, how can that be? Don’t you mean if you wake up full of energy and ready to go? Nope! I mean that today, I know without a doubt that everything I get done today, including this blog and podcast, will only be because of God. I literally have hardly no energy and no pep in my step. I know I will be stronger today because I won’t try to be or pretend to be or force myself to be. I am standing on 2 Corinthians 12:9: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
As we move into chapter 13 of Proverbs for the Scriptural Bible Study, there are 5 things that stood out in this chapter of Righteous vs Wicked and Wisdom vs Foolish. Y’all see that Proverbs is going to have us RIGHTEOUS by the time we complete this bible study.
Here is what stood out to me
We got to make sure as parents that we SHOW our kids us growing in wisdom because they are going to soak it up. And we want them to be wise kids. We show them what a wise kid is by obeying our heavenly Father, by listening to our Heavenly Daddy. We are King’s kids and we need to show our kids how to be as well.
Don’t be a slacker (The Lord is definitely helping me not be one today). Being a slacker gets you nothing. Instead be diligent. That means hard-working! Show that you care in your work duties.
Arrogance is another word for pride and this is Satan’s sin of choice. Arrogance or pride is also the number one thing on God’s hate list!
Spend time with wise people. Hang out with wise people and you’ll end up being wise too. But if you choose to hang with fools, just know that you will suffer harm. Fools don’t offer correction. They just let you look stupid and feel good about being self-centered and lacking good judgment. Fools will make you feel good about being on a bad path or going the wrong way. God’s way is the only way, so don’t hang with fools that say otherwise.
Verse 22 talks about the sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous. This means that God has a way of transferring the resources of the wicked to be used and developed for Kingdom purposes. God knows how to make theological transactions in favor of the righteous to accomplish His purposes.
Today, no matter how you feel, whether it’s weak like me or you’re bouncing off the walls, be sure to acknowledge God in all you do and choose the way of wisdom. It’s the only way to go!

SALVATION PRAYER
If you’re not a believer and have a desire to be, openly confess and declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer out loud, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community and start having a conversation through prayer with God every day. And let me be the first to welcome you to your new life with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. YAAAAY!!!!! You made the best decision you could ever make! Feel free to email me at info@onassignmentbyGod.com and let me know about your newfound life or if you need prayer for anything.
