WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

God is love.
Today I woke up feeling super sleepy. For some reason, I am not feeling like I am getting a full night of rest. It’s like one of those batteries that never get to 100%, but are still fully functional. That’s me. I am always wishing for more time to sleep. And as long as I have been waking up at 5 a.m. to pray, you would think it would just be second nature at this point. Some mornings it is. And a lot of mornings, it’s not. People think that after you do something for a while, that it should be easy. But I know and recognize that being obedient won’t always come easy, but yet, I will still choose to be obedient, no matter how I feel.
Today as I was wrapped in my navy blue and white, super soft, cashmere-like blanket due to the drop in temperature, I felt like I was being hugged by God this morning. The first thing I heard the Holy Spirit say to me is: I love you Fon!
My heart believes it and that’s better than a feeling of love. I know He loves me. His love is faithful and it won’t ever change no matter. He has loved me from the very beginning when He chose me out of 400 trillion! Yes, I was chosen to be here and that’s love.
One thing I reflected on this morning as I sat waiting to hear more of what the Holy Spirit wanted to tell me was: that God’s love never fails. I mean never ever. Never ever!
As a student of relationships, I enjoy talking about love and relationships all that kind of stuff. But there is a difference between natural human love and divine love. In his book, Love Never Fails, Kenneth Hagin says, “Natural human love is selfish. It is concerned about me, what is mine, what I can have, and what I have to put up with. Divine love is unselfish. It is not concerned with how I can use you and what I can get from you. It is concerned with what I can give. Human love will turn into hatred overnight. Divine love has never been to the divorce court.”
I can definitely attest to what Brother Hagin is saying because I have been selfish in natural human love. I found myself in a divorce court. But I am so thankful for spiritual growth! Romans 5:5 says: “the love of God [the God-kind of love] is shed abroad in our hearts [or spirits] by the Holy Ghost.” That means we can love like God loves because we have the same kind of love in us that He had in Him.
God loves me so much that He sent his only son Jesus to pay for my sins so that I can have eternal life. Then when Jesus went back to sit at the right hand of the Father, God sent the Holy Spirit! That is love. That means He has always made sure I was never alone and will always have someone. I have the Holy Spirit. That’s love!
This morning the Holy Spirit said:
I have crafted the perfect one for you. It is already done.
I won’t leave you like this when I know the desires of your heart.
Trust my promises. They are always yes.
My love never fails.
No matter what it looks like right now in the natural, this is spiritual, and when you focus on the spiritual, it will manifest in the natural.
What you can’t see in the natural is already worked out in the spiritual realm, and because you can see it spiritually, you WILL see it naturally, in My time.
It won’t be long now.
Lord, I thank you for the love you give to me and show me every day. Your love never fails. Your love is always faithful. Your love endures forever. I love you Lord.

What did God say to YOU in your conversation with Him this morning?
Reflect on God’s love for you today.
SALVATION PRAYER
If you’re not a believer and have a desire to be, openly confess and declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer out loud, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community and start having a conversation through prayer with God every day. And let me be the first to welcome you to your new life with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. YAAAAY!!!!! You made the best decision you could ever make! Feel free to email me at info@onassignmentbyGod.com and let me know about your newfound life or if you need prayer for anything.
