You Ain’t Never Seen This Day Before!
“We know that God works to help those people who love him. He uses everything that happens to them to bring something good. He does this for those people that He has chosen to serve Him.” Romans 8:28 EASY
WHAT DID GOD SAY TODAY?
This morning started off with me saying…Good Morning Holy Spirit, today is April 11, 2019. And immediately I had this overwhelming rush of fresh air. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS DAY BEFORE! It was like The Holy Spirit wanted me to truly take that in. We get so used to living that we forget that it’s because of God that we are here TODAY! Death can come in an instant. We see it on our social media timelines almost every day and yet we don’t pause to CATCH THE FRESH BREATH that God grants us daily. Holy Spirit said catch this FON. TODAY IS A DAY YOU AIN’T NEVER SEEN BEFORE. I don’t care if your routine is the same. You ain’t never seen THIS day before. And it’s YOUR choices that make your days look the same. It’s your lack of expectations that cause you to live the same life. You have gotten into such a routine that you don’t even realize that I GAVE YOU LIFE TODAY!! Another DAY to LIVE.
Whew! Thank you Holy Spirit for real for real…because you’re right… I have never seen this day before. I look forward to ALL THE NEW THINGS YOU WILL DO FOR ME TODAY!!
I began to pray and the Holy Spirit said this:
Your assignment Fon is to help people understand they can talk to me directly. Just like I’m talking to you right now, I can talk to them just the same. Show them that it’s simply praying and then listening.
Pray, then listen. I will guide and counsel you on everything.
Get my permission on everything you do. Ask me in prayer and then listen in prayer. Wait on me to answer. (The Holy Spirit made me remember how we wait in traffic to get to work; we wait to talk to someone in customer service; we wait in line to eat; we wait in line at the bank; we wait for things like concerts and events to start at a certain time. YOU CAN WAIT FOR EVERYTHING ELSE, BUT NOT MY ANSWER? Wait on me to answer you. And yes I hear you so you don’t have to keep asking when you pray. I need you to LISTEN after you ask the first time. Remove the distractions so you can hear Me. Shut off the noise. Get in a quiet place so you can hear from me. Not just in the morning prayer time. If you feel the need to get away from the crowd, it’s because I’m ready to answer you. Get away and listen.
Keep your feet planted firm on My Word. Don’t waiver. Things might get crazy and you might move your body from side to side, but keep your feet planted. (I had a visual of one of those inflatable tube man things that businesses use to get your attention. They move around. They bend. They go side to side, but they are planted there.
Then I heard the Holy Spirit say, stand firm and I will fight all your battles.
Just show up and stand up. It may look like you are surrounded, but you’re surrounded by ME. (This is a song we sing at church. You can jam along right here). Weapons gone form against you, but they won’t prosper. (I had to look up this verse again in a different translation because I was like…Holy Spirit what does it mean when it says, it won’t PROSPER? Give me a new revelation Holy Spirit.
And this is where Holy Spirit led me to this image. It means it won’t be successful!! THANK YOU JESUS!
WOW! I knew I needed to know what that verse really meant. If you grew up in the church like me, you find yourself saying scripture, but when you enter into a new spiritual realm, you can get a whole new revelation on the same scripture you grew up saying.
I prayed, Holy Spirit help me get new revelation on things I have heard and spoken. Let your Word, be a seed that now falls on more fertile ground within me Lord.
As you can see with the length of this blog, (major shout out to those who still reading and allowing God to speak to them like He spoke to me today), I prayed for a long time, and Holy Spirit has been telling me, I got MORE. I got MORE. That’s why you need to get your rest at night. I got MORE for you. Here is where I got really emotional this morning.
Here’s where we went next:
You can start over with Me! Don’t worry about what they say. “They” don’t know the plans I have for you. And you don’t have to do anything more than say Lord, I want to start over. Forgive me for everything, I want to start over with you in my life completely! (I don’t know who this is for, but I know it’s for someone who will read this blog and have read to this point).

Get your documents together and stand firm. I am about to represent you! I am taking you to another dimension. But I need you to get your documents together. (Of course, I asked What Documents?). The assignments I have given you are the documents! Get them together and in order!
Don’t worry about HOW! Just DO what you know already to DO and I will DO the rest. Do you have faith in Me? You only need mustard seed size faith to move mountains (look at this image and just stare at the amazing-ness of God and how he created everything. A seed this small can make a tree this big. Look in the mirror. You were once a seed too :-)
I began to smile and started singing, I love you Jesus. I worship and adore you. Just want to tell you, Lord I love you, more than anything. Now I can’t even tell you what key I was singing in, but I just felt this urge to sing and let Jesus know how much I loved Him in that moment. I was singing and then I heard myself singing (insert wrong key facial expressions). I said, Oooohhh Lord, you surely didn’t give me the gift of singing. And he said:
I GAVE YOU THE GIFT OF WRITING. YOU SING WITH YOUR PEN!
OMG! TEARS TEARS TEARS TEARS TEARS TEARS…just started streaming down my face to my neck. I heard the Holy Spirit say, “don’t trip about the gift you DIDN’T get. Your pen has the power to sing!” My Lord, I was crying because I just felt the Holy Spirit just smiling at me with this love for WHO I AM and what He created ME to be.
After I just took all that love in, I said out loud…My pen has the power to sing! Who knows, I might write a song! I could partner with a singer and both our gifts can be used to magnify the Lord. My Words + Their Voice = Romans 8:28. This came from the EASY translation on my Bible app. I love when Holy Spirit gives new revelation on verses. God can use everything in you! Nothing is wasted. Plus, you’re not here on earth for you anyway. You are here because God said so. He has a purpose and a plan for your life.
