During my cuddle conversation with my Creator this morning, he told me that: He has the initial say and the final say. He said, I’ll let you know if I want you to do it, and then I will be with you as you do it, and I will tell you how to do it. I’ll tell you everything to do. Just keeping asking Me. Keep seeking Me. I am with you all the way!
That was the conversation we had before I even got out of the bed.
Then when I got to the prayer closet and turned on my “soaking music” by Nathaniel Coe, I got delivered from the spirit of control. But let me back up a minute, because I know me making that statement immediately creates questions for you. Delivered? Spirit of Control? Wait…what happened in the prayer closet?
So I have been reading this book called Pigs in the Parlor, The Practical Guide to Deliverance. It’s a deliverance manual written by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. Now I had heard about this book because anytime you hear a title like that, Pigs in the Parlor, you’re automatically going to remember it. I had said a while ago that I need to get that book and see what it’s about. But I got distracted. It wasn’t until my guest Shemeka Hawkins on this past Sunday’s episode, mentioned it again in a conversation she and I were having, that I said, let me get this book. Y’all I am not even finished reading this book, but so far, it has revealed so much about being delivered from evil spirits. You remember Jesus delivered people from evils spirits right? I have learned so much, and you know them demons/evil spirits that I learned about were not happy that they were being exposed.
This morning I was delivered from the spirit of Control and in reading this book, I also realized that a lot of evil spirits actually enter in our childhoods! One of the lines in the book says this: The quickest way to understand what doors were opened for demons to enter is to hear an account of a person’s childhood. That really blew me away. But it also made me realize that I need to learn all I can so that my children won’t have to go through any of the stuff I went through. Now don’t get me wrong, I had a great childhood, but see we can’t just think because this didn’t happen to us or that didn’t happen to us, we straight. Nah. Some of the very characteristics that you display now, are because of doors that demons entered when you were a child.
Now of course I can’t break the book down on this one blog/podcast, but I will share this from the book: some of the most common symptoms of indwelling demons are: emotional problems (resentment, anger, fear, rejection); mental problems (who knew that procrastination, indecision, and doubt were actually mental problems); speech problems; sex problems; addictions; physical infirmities (that’s diseases and physical afflictions); religious error (like horoscope reading, magic, ouija boards, cults, lodges, societies, social agencies that even use religion, and false doctrine in the church).
See what I mean. But as I was praying this morning about my non-profit, the Holy Spirit said to me, go back to what you wrote down already. And as you discover, I want you to educate and teach others. He said, you already have everything you need to succeed. Don’t get weary in well-doing. Don’t get side-tracked if people don’t receive what you’re saying. Just continue to be consistent. Continue to do what I have assigned you to do. Keep doing the 4 steps: Praying, Reading My Word, Listening to Me, and Writing Down What I Say.

As I was talking to the Father this morning, I said Lord I am so thankful that as I grow, and as I learn, I turn.
That means when I get knowledge, when I learn that I am unknowingly doing something against God’s Word, or as He reveals things to me in His Word, in books like Pigs in the Parlor or Prayers that Rout Demons, I need to repent, renounce, and turn away from those things immediately and move forward in my walk with God. I had no idea that procrastination (something I have battled with my entire life) was a symptom of a demon!
Yesterday’s blog/podcast title was obeying God ain’t hard. Today, I want to encourage you to seek God more and more. And as you learn, TURN!
