Clarity Is Calling You...Pick Up!
WHAT DID MY LORD GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING?
My Daily Conversations With God
It’s a great day to be obedient!
As I was praying this morning, I realized that sometimes we can make life more complicated than it really is. Our struggles often are centered around things that we know to do, but simply don’t. I prayed about that this morning. That we can obey God and His commands. That we can stop struggling with obedience and just ask God for help to be obedient. That we can stop trying to do everything on our own. That we can stop trying to figure out what God has already worked out.
I was reading in the Scriptural Surprise from the book of Nahum. It’s a short book and I know that I have read it recently. But what stood out on the intro page of the book was this line:
To reject God’s word and mistreat His people is a plot against Him.
That really made me pause because I don’t know any believer who would want to plot against GOD! Like seriously, if I took a poll right now and asked people if they wanted to plot against God, I am sure believers and even non-believers would not be willing to take that job on. But when I read that, I realized that we do exactly that when we reject His Word by not being obedient. His Word tells us exactly what to do. But we reject it by doing what we want to do instead. Then we plot against Him when we mistreat His people. And here’s the thing, He created all of us. We are all His people. So when we let our feelings and emotions get the best of us and start wilding out on people or undercutting people and having ulterior motives, we are plotting against God.
Very revelatory huh?
Speaking of revelatory, the Holy Spirit said to me this morning:
I will provide clarity in all things.
Write the vision and submit it to me.
First of all, I am thankful that I don’t have to figure anything out because the Lord will give me clarity and make everything I need to know super plain…just for me! I trust Him to make it so clear that I won’t have any issues obeying it because it won’t be confusing. Anytime we are confused, that should be a sign to us to get clarity from the Lord.
He reveals the deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with him. Daniel 2:22 CSB
We can rest assured that God will reveal it plainly for us to see. And whatever vision we write down, He will give us clarity about it, when we submit it to Him.
Let us be encouraged today to have revelatory conversations with God, to read His Word and obey it, to submit our visions to Him, and to treat His people right so that we can always be in right standing with our Father God!
