WHAT DID MY LORD GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING?

I give the Lord all praises because He is the reason I am here. I give God the glory for His son Jesus. I am thankful and grateful for my new life in Christ Jesus because of what He did for me. He died and He rose again just for you and for me, oh and I am glad, so glad He did. That’s a few lines from a song I used to sing as a kid in the youth choir. I am just thankful this morning for being on assignment by God.
Now y’all know I am all about transparency on the blog. I had a bit of a struggle this morning. Nope, it wasn’t a struggle to get up either. Remember yesterday the Holy Spirit told me not to overthink, right? You read yesterday’s blog. Well wouldn’t you know I found myself doing just that very thing this morning. I wish I could say that once I hear from the Lord and He tells me something like don’t overthink and I start confessing that I have the mind of Christ, that I wouldn’t be facing the very same thing the next morning. But guess what? You can best believe the enemy is going to keep pushing you in that area until you rout him out once and for all in that situation!
That’s exactly what I had to do. Now, as I have said before, I am still learning so much about living a Kingdom life, and there are many things I don’t know, but one thing I learned last year was that there are a lot of prayers that I didn’t even know I needed to pray, which is why praying in the Spirit is essential. So I did that. I prayed in the Spirit. My natural mind was still being tormented though. So I prayed more. Then I was led to grab my Prayers that Rout Demons book! And when I started praying those prayers, which are basically scriptures broken down to spiritually fight specific demons, I felt a release!
SIGH!
As I was praying the prayers, I started laughing. And it was a good laugh too. I knew that my prayers were effective because I was now laughing at the enemy. See the enemy thought he could make me doubt what I hear from Holy Spirit. And it was subtle to y’all. Don’t miss that. Just like when the enemy asked Eve, “did God really say that,” I felt like my situation was kind of similar to that. But like I said, here I was now laughing at the enemy.
The Holy Spirit said, Fon, ain’t nothing wrong with your hearing. You HEAR from me and you always have. As I continue to refine you, there will be voices that try to talk louder than mine, but remember that I will always be direct with you. You hearing from Me got you right where you are today and I won’t ever leave you. Our relationship is more solid than ever because of your commitment to spending time with me, so don’t be distracted by the voices. CONTINUE to listen to Me like you have always done and be obedient to my instructions. Don’t let anyone seed doubt in your mind on what you hear from Me. You got questions? I always will have the answer. You will say what I tell you to say and don’t remix my words. I’m direct with you and I always will be. Protect your ears during our time together. From the first time you heard me until now, my voice hasn’t changed and it never will. It was the same voice you heard before you even recognized it as my voice. Continue to Trust My voice. Continue to trust my instructions. Continue to be obedient. Continue to move at My command. Continue to write down what I say. Continue to share what I tell you to share. Continue on Fon. And remember, you can always ask me…What do YOU say Holy Spirit? I will always answer you.
This morning I encourage you to continue to pray daily, seek God first in everything, talk to Him about EVERY SINGLE THING. I mean everything y’all. One thing I know for sure is that, no matter the struggle, the end is always victory! Talk to Holy Spirit about it as you progress to the victory and He will guide you through it and to it.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27 ESV
