God Made Me the Best Version
So God created human beings in his own likeness. He created them to be like himself.
He created them as male and female. — Genesis 1:27 NIRV
During my prayer time with God this morning, I had this thought come up: “God’s best for me… I want God’s best for me.” Have you ever uttered those words or had those words said to you? I know for those of us who are unmarried, we tend to hear this from our family and friends who care about us so deeply. They too, only want God’s best for us. This thought led to me and Holy Spirit having a conversation about being the best version.
Holy Spirit said:
Best for you
Best version of you
Best version of them
There is a certain place of surrender that makes you whole.
Daily surrender
Wholly surrendered
I already made you the best version of you. As you surrender to me daily, you discover who I made you to be.
When people meet you, they meet the best version of who I made you to be.
Everyday you are a new best version.
Like a phone gets updates, you have to give permission to allow the update. You’re still the version of you that I created. But as you grow, I grace you with updates that glorify me.
The updates take time but allow me to get the bugs out and remove the residue of unauthorized downloads you have made via sin.
The best version of you always accomplishes everything I designed and purposed for you.
There is a scripture that I have been meditating on daily that fits right into our conversation:
How you made me is amazing and wonderful. I praise you for that.
What you have done is wonderful. I know that very well. — Psalms 139:14 NIRV
Today and everyday, let us be fully surrendered to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, so that we can be the best version of WHO HE IS within us.
P.S. I just love my Conversations With God! Don’t you?

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
