Inner Workings For Outer Purposes
WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING
When the Holy Spirit says He is proud of you, that’s reason to cry! That’s what I experienced in the prayer closet this morning! It felt so good!! I was talking to several people yesterday and the conversation that I found myself having repeatedly was that I noticed I have an inability to receive compliments. Like I seriously have a hard time accepting when people compliment me. I literally downplay or just shew it off. I have done it so much in my life that it’s normal for me, but what I have come to realize is that God is using those people who genuinely compliment me (not the cat calls that conditioned me to be so numb), to let me know that I am beautiful or that I did a great job or that they liked my style or they liked my work!
So this morning, when the Holy Spirit did it, I just burst into tears because I heard it so clearly, “I’m so proud of you Fon. I see you trying and it makes me so glad. I am proud of you and all that you have committed to do for Me! I see your heart. I see your effort. I see your progress. You are doing amazing and I will continue to use you! Keep growing in your knowledge and understanding. Just keep on going.”
I can’t even describe the feeling, but I can tell you that I didn’t shew the Holy Spirit off at all. I received ALL the compliments He gave me this morning and it gave me a joy and a smile that will last for as long as I can remember this moment!! It was absolutely amazing and I am so thankful that He encouraged ME!
I also heard Him say:
Simple obedience
Don’t make sharing Me complex.
Keep it simple.
Obey Me.
I felt so strongly in my heart that the Holy Spirit wanted to remind me that this life I am living for Him is not hard to do. I don’t need to make it complicated or complex. Just simply obey Him and He will be proud of me. That’s a word for you too friend. I pray that you’re encouraged through my transparency and the sharing of my conversations with God. He is talking to you too!! He sees your heart. He sees your effort. He sees your progress. He is proud of you!!
My scriptural surprise today further advanced my encouragement. I read Philippians, chapters 1 and 2. The verses that stood out were Phil 1:9-11, 25; and Phil 2:13. These verses really solidified what the Holy Spirit said to me this morning. Phil 1:11 though was the verse that I kept repeating: “May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation - those good things that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ - for this will bring much glory and praise to God. (New Living Translation)
I am getting ready to head to the Believe Big Again Conference and I am super excited to see what God will do! My expectations are definitely BIG because I serve a God who is BIGGER THAN ALL and can do the impossible! I can’t wait to share what happened at the conference! It’s going to be BIG! I believe it!!
Hearts and Hugs!!
SALVATION PRAYER
If you’re not a believer and have a desire to be, openly confess and declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer out loud, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community and start having a conversation through prayer with God every day. And let me be the first to welcome you to your new life with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. YAAAAY!!!!! You made the best decision you could ever make! Feel free to email me at info@onassignmentbyGod.com and let me know about your newfound life or if you need prayer for anything.
