Just Hold Tight!

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

Yesterday I got ahead of God. I moved without His permission. The result was not the expected outcome. This morning, I prayed and I heard the Holy Spirit say this:

Slow down to my pace. Don’t get ahead of me or you will endure things I never meant for you to endure.

Just hold tight Fon.

The scriptural surprise is Song of Songs 2:7.

Promise me, O women of Jerusalem, by the swift gazelles and the deer of the wild, not to awaken love until the time is right.

I hear God reminding me to just wait on Him, and I want to encourage you to wait on Him for everything you desire to do. Get His permission in all things. We often endure pain or struggle because we get ahead of God. Yesterday He had to show me that I need to keep doing what I have been doing…holding on to Him and getting His permission before I make any moves. God is faithful! I trust His plan for my life…and Jeremiah 29:11 says His plans are good and they will give me a future and a hope. Thank you Jesus for loving me the way you do. It’s the most sustaining and everlasting love of all.
