First Things First!

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

This morning I spent more time praying in the Spirit. Yesterday’s sermon was all about how we can reach our high calling when we pray in the Spirit. Check out the podcast or sermon from my church Word of Life to hear how my pastor Joel Simms broke down the message of praying in the Spirit. This morning I heard the Holy Spirit say, I am first in everything you do. Get my permission first . No matter what, put Me first in everything.

The scriptural surprise was even about firsts. It came from Nehemiah 10:35. Open your Bible or Bible app and check it out. This is a good day to open your Bible and read, so I won’t put the verse here. I pray you are encouraged through the scriptural surprise section of this blog to read your Bible every day.

God wants us to put Him first, therefore when we wake up, the first thing we are to do, is put Him first as soon as our eyes open. Nothing else should come before God in our day. Start the day with God.
