Never Running Out!
WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

In obedience, the On Assignment By God Blog, now has an audio feature where you can listen to this blog!! Thank you for your prayers as I continue to be obedient and do what God says! Happy Listening!!
I have said it before, but it bears repeating…You can’t do this Christian walk without total dependence on God.
This morning as I arose to a cold room and headed to the prayer closet, my movements were a bit on the I sluggish side. To be honest, I was still very much sleepy. I headed to the restroom and I know I sighed several times. I let out a few verbal adorations and repeatedly said: “thank-you Jesus.” I cued up the praise and worship music on my phone, made a Bible image for my prayer group (so that I wouldn’t be rushing to do it right at 5:20…which note to self…I need to do better prep on that), and then I knelt down and began to worship. Not being new to this sluggish feeling, I knew once I got going, I would “feel” more energized.
I prayed in the Spirit.
Then I prayed some more in the Spirit.
I started crying.
I kept praying.
The sluggish feeling didn’t seem to go away. My mind then wandered off to this here blog. I started to feel like I wouldn’t hear from God this morning because I wasn’t feeling the way I usually feel when I hear him. I didn’t let panic set in though. Praise God for growth! And then I heard these three words: Never running out.
I prayed. Then I even prayed some more. I kept going until I felt I was done. I had scribbled down the three words as I was praying because I didn’t want to lose them. But those three words were all I had when I walked out of the prayer closet. Again, Praise God for growth. I still wasn’t panicking.
I opened my Bible for the Scriptural Surprise and it opened up to Acts 24-26. I was looking for the three words, and while I didn’t see them, I read and learned more about Paul’s arrest, trial, and Kingdom Witness in Rome. Now while I was writing the blog, I went to beginning of Acts to read even more about the book of Acts so that I could share with you in summary form what the chapters that I read were about. Side Note: I absolutely love this about the Tony Evans Study Bible.
But check this out. While I was reading the historical background of Acts, which was written by Luke, I read that Luke was writing to Theophilus, who was most likely his patron (a wealthy person who funded Luke’s research and writing of his two books)!! This stood out to me as a writer. This stood out to me because during the month of January, I had been praying and fasting about funding! So you know after I post this blog, I will be doing even more research to see what else the Holy Spirit is revealing to me!! But isn’t that amazing?
Okay, so back to the words: Never Running Out!
I did what most prolific writers do. I Googled it. LOL! And let me add this because some people are like, but when I Google stuff, I don’t find it. That’s because you have to really understand how to use Google. Not really. You just need to be specific not vague. So what I put into the search bar was: scripture about never running out. Genius kind of stuff right? LOL! My search results yielded 1 Kings 17:14:
For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says, “The bowl will not run out of flour or the jar run out of oil before the day that I, the Lord, send rain.” 1 Kings 17:14 Good News Translation
And upon that Google search and that scripture, I then heard this from the Holy Spirit:
My love never runs out.
My grace never runs out.
If you do as I say, your provision will never run out.
A sure sign of disobedience is provision running out!
Follow My directions in faith.
Feel Me, not your Feelings.
Your lack of faith can hold it up (Lord, what’s it?)
lack of faith can hold up blessings
lack of faith can hold up your next assignment
lack of faith can hold up instructions for your next move
I then read this line in an article that also popped up in the Google search: Having an eternal inheritance that never runs out can only come through faith in Jesus Christ!
Bottom line…when you are fully and completed connected to the Source, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and you are obedient to His instructions for your life, you will never run out of anything and He is the provider of everything!
And if I go back to what I was thinking when I heard those words, it was that I would run out of content for this blog. That’s the thought that came up right before I heard the Holy Spirit say: Never Run Out!
I can be assured that even with writing a 6-day a week blog about my conversation with God, He will never stop talking to me and having an amazing conversation with me every single morning for the rest of my life. My God will never RUN OUT on me!
Then I Googled a praise and worship song with the lyrics never run out and look at what God revealed to me! Listen to it and peep out the words!!
