Pleasing My Lord and Savior
This morning I was singing y’all. I was making up worship songs and just singing to the Lord. If you know me, then you already know (even from listening to the podcast) that I will burst into a song in a minute, regardless of the key of said song. That’s exactly how I was this morning, just worshipping my Lord and Savior in my own style of song. I was fully surrendered and allowing Holy Spirit to use me as He wanted.
I started thanking the Lord for His favor, His mercy, and His grace! I know I rhymed a few words because that’s MY STYLE. LOL! I thanked the Lord also for His timing. His reply was: My timing is perfect. I can see what you can’t see, so count it all joy to wait on me!
Psalm 27 backed it all up with scripture. My favorite verses today were verse 6, which says in part: I will sing and make music to the Lord. Now y’all know when I read that and circled it, I got so excited! I just told y’all that I was singing all kind of MADE UP worship songs right. Then for me to open my Bible to Psalms 27 and see David did the same thing! I got so excited!
The next couple of verses that got me were 13-14:
13 Here is something I am still sure of.
I will see the Lord’s goodness
while I’m still alive.
14 Wait for the Lord.
Be strong and don’t lose hope.
Wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:13-14 NIRV
As I waited for the Lord to speak to me more, I definitely could count it all joy because He wrote me a letter. Now at first, I didn’t want to share it with you. Just being honest, but then the Holy Spirit said, show them how I speak to you. So here goes:
Fon, you are more perfect than you have ever been. When I look at you, I am so pleased with you. I see how hard you try to please Me and I am pleased with you. I see your tears. I see your efforts. I see all of it. I love you so much. Nothing will harm you or those connected to you. You got Me and I always got you.
I am really proud of who you are. Everyday you get more and more like who I made you to be. My face shines on you as a result of how proud I am of you. Like a Father beaming with joy at His child for good behavior, you make me so proud to see you being all that I called and made you to be. I am pleased with you. I am proud of you!

I simply want to please my Father in everything I do. I pray that’s your desire and intention too.
SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
