Self-ReLIance is a LIE-Ability

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

Today is the first day of fall and guess who popped right on up out of the bed at 5 a.m.? Yes, Me! I am so happy that I got on up today and didn’t snooze. But remember what I said before, don’t let a snooze make you lose out on your time with God or allow the enemy to make you think that you can’t pray because you woke up late. Even if you get up later, still make God the priority first thing in the morning. Pause and give Him praise for the first few minutes. If you have 15 minutes, start there. If you don’t start with however much time you have and pray that you do better tomorrow. It truly makes all the difference in the world, when we spend time with the ONE who brought us into this world.

This morning as I was praying, I heard the Holy Spirit say this:

Self-reliance is a lie.
You weren’t designed by Me to rely only on yourself. I didn’t make you that way.
Surrender ALL of your life to me…even what you’re good at.
Don’t let being stuck in your ways, keep you stuck!
Getting you unstuck is nothing for me. You can’t get yourself loose or unstuck. But I can! Just ask me to loose you from every area that is not of Me. Don’t get stuck in your own strength. Only I have the power to unstick you! There is no BONDage in Me.
Don’t get thrown off on the assignment I am giving you. For any assignment I give you, My door is always open for you to get help on the assignment and ask Me questions.
Just know that if I gave you the assignment, I already knew before I gave it to you that you were capable of completing it. And I already knew what areas would require you to come and talk to Me about it. But even though I know, I still want you to come to me because you know I am the ONE who can help you. Don’t feel like you have to do the assignment by yourSELF.
None of the assignments I give you in this life can be done in your own strength.
All of the assignments I give you are “open-book” assignments. Your Bible is the book that will help you with every assignment I give you.
Don’t let greed or your desire for money make you go against My timing for you to have it. When you get ahead of Me, it may cause you to get money from people or places I never intended, which could result in a curse or sickness (Read 2 Kings 5:26-27).

When you look at my conversation with the Holy Spirit today, you can really see how He wants us to totally be dependent on Him for everything. We can get so caught up in trying to “make it happen” that we lose sight of our purpose and what he wants us to be focused on doing (His business, not our business). We can let the hustle mentality make us pursue things in our own strength without God. And sometimes we can’t get to the level God wants us on because we are stuck in our own strength, in our own hustle, in our own grind. You can’t do it by yourSELF. Self-reliance is a lie from the pits of hell because the devil doesn’t want you depending on God. But guess what? You cannot live to your fullest potential that GOD created you, by doing life all by yourSELF. Why would He create us for His purposes without an ability to depend on Him? He didn’t! So don’t let the enemy deceive you with all these Grind and Hustle slogans of life. Some of yall out here grinding and hustling in the opposite direction and wondering why you can’t seem to get ahead. It’s because you going the wrong way!!

Depend on God for everything and watch how much stronger you are, how much further you go, and how much higher you soar!

If you’re struggling in any area of your life, that’s an area where you are trying to do it by yourSELF. Ask God to strengthen you with HIS power and He will do it…if what you’re trying to do is for His glory. And trust and believe…you don’t want to be doing it if He not giving you permission to pursue it anyway (Speaking from experience here).

It’s officially fall season today. Commit to falling on your knees in prayer this season because winter is coming.

Be encouraged! Stay on assignment! Rely on the Holy Spirit for strength!

SALVATION PRAYER

If you’re not a believer and have a desire to be, openly confess and declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
