The Lord is Faithful & Gracious

I got to start off letting you know that the friend who I prayed for yesterday and got the victory in prayer for, passed away. At first, I was like, wait a minute Lord, but I prayed. I believed. I interceded. I shouted victory.

The Holy Spirit said:

  • Don’t waiver in your faith even when things happen differently than what you prayed for.

  • Keep praying.

  • Keep persevering in prayer.

  • Keep praising.

But what about the victory Lord? What about the supernatural miracle? What about the testimony Father?

As I pressed into Holy Spirit with these questions, He answered me by letting me know that there IS Victory. A supernatural miracle DID take place. There are testimonies. As I thought about it throughout the day yesterday and this morning, I saw it, but not with my natural eyes. I once again was reminded to put on my Holy Lenses, just like when my Uncle who we had been praying for, went home to be with the Lord. And that’s what Holy Spirit wanted me to see in this instance:

And we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:8 GNT

As family members and friends, we all never want to see our loved ones leave us. But we all know that just like Jesus had to leave and go be with the Father in order for the Holy Spirit to come to us, our loved ones have to leave this earth in order to be at home with the Lord. That is the victory. That is the supernatural miracle. That is the testimony. When we can testify that we know without a doubt that our loved ones have gone on to be with the Lord, it means that they are far more blessed than us saints still here on earth.

Christ means everything to me in this life, and when I die I’ll have even more.

Philippians 1:21 God’s Word Translation

As I cried this morning and worshiped God for WHO HE IS, Holy Spirit, the Comforter comforted me with scripture.

The Lord is good to everyone and his compassion rests on all He has made. Psalm 145:9 CSB

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom; your rule is for all generations. The Lord is faithful in all His Words and GRACIOUS IN ALL HIS ACTIONS. Psalm 145:13 CSB

When I read that part about the Lord being gracious in all his actions, I looked up gracious. I saw the words: courteous, kind, pleasant, and polite. The Christian belief definitions said: Showing Divine Grace. Merciful. Forgiving. Sympathetic. Tenderhearted. Compassionate.

All I had to do is think about how God allowed things to play out and I can see His hand of compassion all through it. Yes things happened differently than what we expected or wanted, but in His graciousness, God was and is still a faithful Father whom we can always trust and depend on. His answers to our prayers will always exceed our expectations. We prayed for supernatural healing, we got it. We prayed for life not death, we got it.

God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Anyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life. John 3:16 NIRV

God hears us and answers our prayers, knowing what’s best for us. When we surrender to Him, we truly Trust His Knowing.

Hallelujah!

P.S. Don’t forget to read Nehemiah 11 for the Scriptural Bible Study. It’s all about the resettling of Jerusalem and how God had called for redevelopment. I learned in my study that we as believers have the ability to impact our communities for Christ. I also learned through reading the lists of names I couldn’t pronounce in verses 3-36, that organization is so key. We must all seek to be organized in every area of our life because God does not work in the midst of disorder. Let’s be encouraged to keep studying God’s word so that He can reveal to us the things He wants us to see and know. These are all things we need to live lives that are pleasing to the Father.

SALVATION PRAYER

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
