WHAT DID MY LORD GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING?
My Daily Conversations With God
My time spent with the Holy Spirit this morning gets the Dub. What’s the Dub? The W! The Win!
Today in my conversation, I heard the Holy Spirit give me two words: Waymaker and Window. I didn’t even look up the words because for me, I KNOW Him to be a waymaker. I know that He can make a way, out of no way. It’s not something I heard or read either. I KNOW this for myself.
There have been times where I didn’t know how I would make it, but God knew and He allowed me to get to the point where I couldn’t do anything and that’s when HE MADE A WAY, HIS WAY!
Window. What did He mean by windows? I immediately thought of the scripture in Malachi 3:10
I am the Lord All-Powerful, and I challenge you to put me to the test. Bring the entire ten percent into the storehouse, so there will be food in my house. Then I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessing after blessing. Malachi 3:10 CEV
I believe the Lord is saying, He is going to make a way out of no way and there is a window in heaven about to open up and flood me and you with blessing after blessing!! Hallelujah!
As I celebrated and opened up my Word for the Scriptural Surprise, I landed in Ecclesiastes. Now y’all know I find it not strange or coincidental that the Holy Spirit talked to me about making a way out of no way and referenced a window which sent me to a scripture about tithing. Then to land in a very familiar chapter of Ecclesiastes (side note: there is never a bookmark where I land during the Scriptural Surprise, so I am fully convinced that the Holy Spirit who is my guide, sends me right where He wants me to go). How am I so sure? Because He told me that before I opened my Bible. He said, “Don’t be blind to the things I am trying to show you!”
I read Ecclesiastes 10 and 11 and here’s what I got from the Holy Spirit be reading His word:
Give your investments TIME to grow (Ecclesiastes 11:1).
Diversify (Ecclesiastes 11:2)
Don’t procrastinate (Ecclesiastes 11:4)
Don’t box me in with your limited thinking. (Ecclesiastes 11:5)
In reading those chapters, I learned that Wisdom brings success and wisdom gives you an edge!! May we all have wisdom today and every day!
The Holy Spirit also said this:
I am your Creator, the source and sustainer of life.
Everything that seems to work out is not always MY work.
Talk to me about it first. What seems easy could be a trap. Seek Me first in all you do. Ask Me how to navigate everything.
Over the last week, I have had to navigate some sudden changes. It hasn’t been easy at all, but I am encouraged that the Holy Spirit reminded me to Ask Him, Seek Him, and Talk to Him about how to navigate these changes. I know that He will MAKE A WAY, OPEN A WINDOW OF BLESSINGS, and GIVE ME WISDOM TO NAVIGATE MY LIFE…because I am seeking Him first thing every day!
God embraces the seriousness of our pursuit of Him and responds with His care, provision, and power.
