A Bird’s Eye View
Today I kicked off the 1 Hour Prayer Challenge LIVE and let me tell you something, obedience to run this challenge live again was just what the Great Physician, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ordered.
I feel so refreshed right now! I have never stopped prayed (you know that if you rock with OABG), but I certainly do appreciate a pouring out of His presence in such a way where it feels like a refreshing rain. Hallelujah!
I tell people (especially those who take the 1 Hour Prayer Challenge for the first time), don’t decide to pray based on your feelings though. Don’t let your feelings keep you from showing up. Most of the time, Holy Spirit will address what you’re feeling anyway. But we must obediently show up to our prayer post every morning.
So what did Holy Spirit and I talk about this morning? Going Higher!!! HA! Oh and by the way, I used my 1 Hour Prayer Challenge Journal to write it down!! (Yes this is my first time using the journal because I wanted to use it for the LIVE Challenge).
I wrote the word “Higher” down in my journal and then Holy Spirit kept talking.
Holy Spirit said: I AM taking you higher. Just keep showing up and allowing Me to use you. I AM taking you, so don’t be afraid to go higher. Grab My right hand and let’s go. Bird’s eye view. I want to show you that you are capable of more. You can’t see your capacity from where you are. Bigger Picture. Zoom out, not in. See it how I see it. Bigger. Wider. Expansive.
I asked Holy Spirit to give me scripture. Here’s where He led me:
The Sovereign Lord has given me the capacity to be his spokesman, so that I know how to help the weary. He wakes me up every morning; he makes me alert so I can listen attentively as disciples do. — Isaiah 50:4 NET
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. — Isaiah 41:10 NLT
Because of you, I know the path of life, as I taste the fullness of joy in your presence. At your right side I experience divine pleasures forevermore! — Psalms 16:11 TPT
My reply: I like it up here Lord. I like being in your presence and seeing it how you see it, so that I can know what to do when my feet hit the floor!

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!

Will you allow Holy Spirit to show you things from a higher place? (Hint: show up to prayer every morning).
Record yourself reading the Word of God on video or audio and watch how God will use your own voice to give you revelation and build your faith (keeping this assignment on here for a while).
