Be Stirred, Not Shaken — Encouragement Ink

Be Stirred, not Shaken.

That’s what I heard Holy Spirit say in our conversation this morning! I immediately thought, the world is always promoting your spirits to be shaken, not stirred. The world is also always twisting things around too. Like be busy, verses being still. Or focused on people having experience verses encounters. What about natural verses supernatural? How about when we put our feelings first verses what Jesus said about us first? These are all ways that the world tries to twist things around.

The HOLY SPIRIT, not some alcoholic spirit said to be stirred, not shaken. As I prayed this morning, I got stirred up. I thought about that song by the Colorado Mass Choir: Stir up the Gift . As I prayed in my heavenly language, I got STIRRED UP!

2 Timothy 1:6 NKJV: Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Proverbs 10:30 AMP says: The [consistently] righteous will never be shaken, But the wicked will not inhabit the earth.

SALVATION PRAYER
