WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING
I had the best day yesterday! I am sharing about yesterday because y’all really don’t get to hear about my Sundays. The blog is like Chic-Fil-A and Hobby Lobby…Closed on Sundays! LOL! But I had the best day yesterday attending church service at my local church, Word of Life in Flowood, MS. Then I came home and attended my online church, Transformation Church, through its YouTube live stream. Both messages were exactly the right amount of food I needed to keep going on this journey called life. I prayed yesterday morning and read my Word before church service; and then I prayed even more after I got home from service. I felt the urge to pray more for someone specifically, so I did. I want to encourage you to pray when you’re prompted. Those are the prayers that are needed more than ever at that appointed time!
I also took a Sunday drive with the Holy Spirit, and he showed me some locations for an upcoming event I am working on. I got in my truck and just said, “Okay, Holy Spirit, show me where to go.” And He did just that!! Trust Him with everything y’all. EVERYTHING. So my Sunday was just an all around great day. Have you ever had one of those kinds of Sundays? I hope so!
Okay, so getting to today. This morning I got up and prayed, and before I even got going good, I heard myself say: Thank you Lord for choosing me, creating me, and calling me…for your glory!
As I kept praying, more “C” words kept coming! I would be praying and then I would stop to write it down because it was “C”razy how they kept “C”oming! When I opened my Bible for the Scriptural Surprise to Isaiah 42 and read through chapter 45, I saw even more “C” words! Check out my ‘C’onversation with the Holy Spirit this morning to “c” if you “c” what I “c”!
Thank you Lord for:
Choosing Me
Creating Me
Calling Me
Chasing After Me
Your Covenant With Me
Covering Me
Caring for Me
Comforting Me
Changing Me
Coming to Save Me From My Sins
Committing to Me
Carrying Me
Confirming Me
Confirming For Me
WOW! When you look at all that, you “C” exactly what CHRIST does for us! Just read the list over and over again and give the Lord praise in your “C”ubicle, or in your “C"ar, in your “Co”working space, in your “C”orner office. Okay, how about give Him praise in your “C” hair right now! That should “C”over all of you! LOL! Just give Him praise!
I also heard the Holy Spirit say: “C”ome to me with it all!
There is nothing too hard for our God. He wants you to simply COME to Him with every CARE and CONCERN!
Will you do that today? Will you stop trying to figure it all out yourself and CALL on the name of Jesus?
Now before I go, I need to tell you that there were a lot of verses that stood out to me in my reading through Isaiah. Several times the Lord said, “I AM GOD AND THERE IS NO OTHER.” And today the verse that really stood out for me was Isaiah 45:5
“I am the Lord, there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me,” Isaiah 45:5 New International Version
This really caught my attention because even when we aren’t acknowledging God for WHO He is, He is still yet strengthening US! Let that settle into your spirit this morning. I pray that it Causes a Change in your Commitment to Christ.
