Codes & Choices

Have you ever lived in an apartment complex with a gate? Or maybe you’ve worked at an office building with a coded entryway. What about a Zoom call? I know all of us have done at least one of those lately, where you needed a code to get in. Right?
This morning, a question popped up in my head during prayer time. The question was: What’s the code to get in? Immediately I answered: PRAYER. That’s the code to get into relationship with our Father God. That’s the code to make our requests known to God. That’s the code to find out what assignments God wants us to accomplish.
I heard Dr. Myles Munroe say this last year and it stuck with me so much that I put in my latest book, Permission Slips. He said: Prayer is earthly license for heavenly interference. I recently renewed my drivers license and the process was easier than I had imagined it would be. I thought it was going to be this long drawn out process because of the pandemic, but Holy Spirit said look online and see. I went on the Department of Public Safety website and guess what? I was able to renew my license with more ease than ever! Then I got them in the mail like within 3 days!! That was shocking too.
This morning I got a question for you. Have you been renewing your earthly license for heavenly interference daily? Are you thinking that it’s such a tough commitment to wake up and pray early? Are you thinking it will be a long drawn out process? What if you just woke up and did it? What if you got your prayer answered in 3 seconds, 3 minutes, 3 days, 3 months, etc.? Would you be shocked?
Prayer is earthly license for heavenly interference.
Interfere Lord!
Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
I renew my earthly license of prayer every morning so that heaven can interfere every day on earth.
P.S. This morning I listened to Deuteronomy 30 The Message Translation. I definitely want you to do that. It really broke it down and made me realize that we have a choice, and verse 11-14 lets us know that it’s not hard to be obedient. Why? Because verse 14 is clearly the verse that Nike got from the Bible. It says: to obey the law and commands of God are not difficult to do because the Word is right here and now - as near as the tongue in our mouth, as near as the heart in our chest. JUST DO IT!
God is a gentleman. He respects our decision-making. He wants us to always know we matter so much that he respects our choices, but we must know that there are consequences for our choices, positive and negative ones. We can choose between life and death, between blessing and curse. The obvious choice is to choose life. But even the more, God urges us to Choose Him!
I got the code to get all that you want from God. Do you want it? It’s your choice whether you use it or not.

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
