If you’re happy that it’s Saturday and you finally get to sleep in or rest in, then you are not alone. Now of course, I have my blogging assignment on Saturdays, but for whatever reason, Saturday blogging feels like, I don’t know…Saturday blogging. I am more relaxed. I feel like I am not on a time clock, even though I do often work in my business on Saturdays, it’s not a typical Saturday kind of work. Saturdays have always been seen as a more restful day, it just feels more relaxed. No rushing with the kids. You know…just more of a chill day.
Anyway, this morning as I was in the presence of the Holy Spirit, He told me to continue depending on Him and NOT stray away from what I have been practicing and the way I have been living. He also said don’t procrastinate on obedience to His instructions and His way of doing things. He then reminded me that He is a mind regulator and a heart fixer! That’s good news for someone who is reading this that has been battling with thoughts in their mind and the one whose heart has been feeling broken. He is a MIND REGULATOR. That means when your mind is going all over the place or you’re feeling overwhelmed with thoughts of doubt, discouragement, grief, frustration, or whatever has you feeling a bit off, God can regulate your mind. That means if you’re experiencing heart break or heartache, He is a HEART FIXER. God can fix it! He created both your mind and your heart!
As I was praying and reading the Scriptural Surprise in Psalm 84-86, there were four things that the Holy Spirit highlighted to me today:
=======>>>> Don’t operate in malfunction. When you feel off or not yourself, always come to Me FIRST! I am your Creator. I can reset you back to your default…the way that I made you!
=======>>>> Deal with it! Deal with any known sins in your life and repent. Appeal to My character of being kind and ready to forgive (Psalm 86:5)
=======>>>> Prioritize My Presence in your life through reading My Word. Blessings come to you when you find your strength in Me alone. To make that last line more personal to you, say it like this: Blessings come to me when I find my strength in GOD ALONE!
=======>>>> Don’t pursue two conflicting ways to live. Single-minded devotion to God leads to obedience.
These are some things that we all need to do on this Saturday. Let’s make acknowledging God and giving Him praise for WHO he is a priority today. Let’s make obedience a priority today. Let’s do both of these everyday… and watch how God honors our efforts.

If you’re not a believer and have a desire to be, openly confess and declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer out loud, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community and start having a conversation through prayer with God every day.
