No Summer Break

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

Summer is here! Kids are out of school. Vacations have begun. Most of the time, summer represents a break from the responsibility of school and study time, but this morning I heard the Holy Spirit say, continue to study My Word and be a student of My Word this summer!

In Mark 1:35, it says Jesus got up before daybreak the next morning and went out to an isolated area to pray. That means Jesus didn’t take a summer break. He still got up before daybreak and went to pray. We are made in Jesus’ image, so that means, we are to keep getting up before daybreak to pray.

Here is what else the Holy Spirit gave me this morning:

Be a student of My Word.
Make all A’s studying My Word because in a certain time in the future, you will be tested. I want you to pass the test, so you must study My Word so you can be prepared for the test…and for any pop quizzes.
You can’t do anything without My power.
Keep focusing on being diligent and obedient with your finances. Learn all you can.
Remember I am with you. You don’t have to figure out anything on your own. Let ME do all the figuring .

What a word this Saturday morning! Be encouraged to keep pressing into Jesus and studying His word. We need Him for the summer. School may be out, but God still needs US to pray and do what He has assigned us to do…this summer!
