WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

The first thing I heard before I even got into my prayer closet this morning was pray without ceasing! This morning I prayed for a fresh anointing, and for the Holy Spirit to just take over. Yall, when you ask the Holy Spirit to take over, be ready! It was amazing and I felt like I had this boldness and authoritative tone in my prayers. The Holy Spirit reminded me: DON’T FORGET THE POWER THAT’S ON THE INSIDE OF YOU!

Did you know that through the Holy Spirit you have authority here on earth? You do! Remember that when you feel weak or think you need to get to someone else to pray for you. The Holy Spirit resides on the inside of you and that’s POWER that you need to utilize daily! Pray for understanding of what you have within, then USE IT!

This morning the Holy Spirit said: pray without ceasing! Don’t stop! Don’t ever think that you have prayed enough. There is more to pray for than you realize or that you even know. If My Word says pray without ceasing, that means it’s plenty to be praying for.

Ephesians 6:18 is the scripture that instructs us to pray without ceasing.

I know some of you are like, but what do I pray for? That was the same thought I had when I joined my 1-hour prayer challenge group. What would I being pray for, for that long? See, praying is not just bringing our wants to God. It’s way more than that! The Holy Spirit is our guide and will guide our prayers when we let Him take over. He will pray THROUGH us. That’s why it is so important to pray every day, and if you can, pray early before the day begins. Being baptized with the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost is how you pray for unknown things in unknown tongues. I encourage you to be curious enough to learn more about praying in the Spirit. Kenneth E. Hagin and Dr. Myles Munroe are two notable people you can research to learn more about The Holy Spirit. Google and YouTube can educate you real quick!

This morning I also felt led to pray for my city. I read this verse as well in Nehemiah 4:9:

But we prayed to our God and guarded the city day and night to protect ourselves. Nehemiah 4:9 New Living Translation.

Again, we must always be praying for ourselves, our families, our friends, our community, our city, our state, and our nation, and even other nations and other unknown things.

No better time than now to start praying! Let’s get it!

Have a great Friday!
