WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING
What a glorious morning I am having already! I got up at 5 a.m. and felt good that I didn’t oversleep. I needed to get into the prayer closet anyway because yesterday was a tough day for me. I know I didn’t make all the right choices, but I am glad that my prayer life is SO STRONG that I was able to discern immediately where I needed to make correction. This morning I heard the Holy Spirit say, don’t compromise the plan and the calling I have on your life for anything or anyone. Be uncompromising Fon!
Oh what a Word from the Lord!!! We will all be tested, but I can truly say that having a strong prayer life made the difference for me. The old me would have gotten off track or turned to something not of God (like a strong drink to knock the edge off), but the presence of God is so strong in me and on me. Nothing will separate me from God’s love for me. So be encouraged today that God will always provide a way out. Look for it and don’t compromise or go back to the old way of thinking and doing things. God is faithful. Trust Him.
I also heard the Holy Spirit say: Go back to how you were in the beginning of this prayer life; where you were constantly feeding your mind with my Word, listening to sermons non-stop. Get back there. I want you to stay in my Word, and keep your eyes on me Fon!
My reply: “Yes Lord! I will do just that!”
Today’s scriptural surprise was amazing!! It was Jeremiah 18! The Potter and the Clay! Check it out and see how God can mold you. I even started singing the song Potter by Tamala Mann: you are the potter, I am the clay, so have your way, work on me Lord.
