The Escape Route!

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING

This morning I prayed AND read the Word of God. Y’all, I read Revelation chapters 3 through 12 (and you know it’s not an “s” on the book of Revelation, right?) LOL!! But Y’all, it was like reading a novel or watching a cinematic movie!! See the devil don’t want us to read the Word of God at all because of the knowledge and wisdom we will gain. I heard the Holy Spirit give me wisdom about time as I read the book of Revelation. He said, Don’t waste time. Use your time wisely and for my good. Then I heard Him say, it’s time to repent and turn from anything and everything that is not of me. (And I bet you already know what He’s talking about too, don’t you?)

Yes indeed!! You can hear from God when you read the Word!! And you heard what I said right? I prayed AND I read the Word of God this morning…at length!! I read 10 whole chapters during my prayer time, and still prayed, and still heard a word from God through the Holy Spirit! Now okay okay, I did go over my hour slightly, but I love that I can just be in God’s presence and allow Him to just let our time flow! Wake up earlier for this to happen, so you don’t be trying to rush God, so you can get to that job you are praying for Him to move you out of! (WOW, I don’t know who that was for because it just came from my Spirit as I was typing). Come through Holy Spirit!!!!

I encourage you today to wake up and get in His presence. Watch what He can do when you just give Him permission and surrender your morning to Him first! It is the most amazing time!

Here’s our conversation from today…the parts that I wrote down!! Yes, I say the parts that I wrote down because to be honest, we had such a good conversation today that I was just enjoying the moment. But no worries on your part because I already asked God to write this blog the way He wants it to be written. So anything He wants me to share will be shared. Praise God!!

As I was praying in the Spirit this morning, the Holy Spirit gave me this visual of people being plucked out of water or a flood. I remember watching many post-hurricane rescues on the news where a helicopter would come and pluck people up from the flood water. Some helicopters had baskets and some just had a hook that the rescue person would be dangling from. That’s the one that I saw in my prayers this morning. The rescue mission where you are being plucked up and have to hold on tight to the dangling rescue authority. Oooohhhh Jesus!!! I feel your presence right now!! You are my rescue authority!!!! Ohhh Weeee!!!! Did you feel that when you read it? My God My God!! Okay, y’all, I am just having a praise moment right now!!

Okay, let me get this out!! I heard the Holy Spirit say this:

I am moving you to a new place. I am plucking you up from where you are and I am moving you to higher ground. I need you to hang on tight to me as we go higher. Keep your eyes on me and don’t look down. I know we are dangling in the air and twisting with the wind, but no matter how many twists and turns we make as I move you, just keep holding on to Me. I won’t let you fall. And listen to me…when we get to higher ground, I won’t just drop you down and fly away. I will sit you down gently and stay with you. You will breathe easier in the new place.

Lord I just thank you for this mighty word today in this blog! Thank you for opening this door and using me to deliver your word today to your people God. Let it be received by all those who need it. In Jesus name I pray….Amen!
