Flashlight
This morning while I was praying, I heard the word: flashlight. My aunt had mentioned this word yesterday to me and I believe the Lord used her to start our conversation this morning.
I discerned the voice of God saying to me very poetically:
Continue to be a flashlight. For some it may be too bright for their faces, and they may look away, but keep being a flashlight shining MY LIGHT in dark places. Everyone won’t receive nor will they all believe, but you just keep sowing good seeds. I came for all, but not all will come. Keep sharing to shine MY LIGHT. Your future is so bright because you shine MY LIGHT.
There were several scriptures that Holy Spirit led me to this morning regarding light:
“Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”— John 8:12 CSB
“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”— John 9:5 CSB
“In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” — 2 Corinthians 4:4 CSB
“Anything you decide will be done. And light will shine on your ways.” — Job 22:28 CSB
“You’ll take delight in God, the Mighty One, and look to him joyfully, boldly. You’ll pray to him and he’ll listen; he’ll help you do what you’ve promised. You’ll decide what you want and it will happen; your life will be bathed in light. To those who feel low you’ll say, ‘Chin up! Be brave!’ and God will save them. Yes, even the guilty will escape, escape through God’s grace in your life.”— Job 22:26-30 CSB
Today let us take a moment to check our flashlights. Let’s make sure they are ready to shine bright, the light of the Lord, in every dark place!

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). When you pray that prayer, you are saved. Get connected with a good, bible-based church in your community, stay connected to other believers, and start having daily conversations through prayer with God every single day. Welcome to your new life with Jesus Christ!!!
