It’s Just A Matter of Time!

WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING
I have some encouraging news this morning from the Holy Spirit and I am so excited about that I can’t even type this out fast enough!!! This morning I was praying for a family member and just like I had heard from the Holy Spirit this past Saturday, the Proverbs 22:6 scripture again came to my remembrance.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 KJV
Now, this scripture came to my mind concerning the family member, and the Holy Spirit revealed to me not to worry about the family member and where they are right now, because he has been trained up as a child. That means he has been taught the right path. And then on top of that, in Deuteronomy 31:6, the Word of God says:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
These two scriptures are the 1-2 punch to the enemy who is trying to make me and many of my family members think that our other family member is a lost cause, because of what it looks like right now! But oh help me Holy Ghost…I heard that it’s only matter of time before that divine reconnect happens.
I looked up three words to get the definitions. Sometimes we read words and think we know what they mean or we have a slight idea, but getting the definition of certain words that appear in scripture takes you even deeper with your understanding of the scripture.
Now before I get to the three words, I got to tell you that the Scriptural Surprise came from the book of Jeremiah chapters 1-4! Oh what a mighty word for you to read. It was in reading those chapters this morning that Jeremiah 3:21 stood out.
Voices are heard high on the windswept mountains, the weeping and pleading of Israel’s people. For they have forgotten the Lord their God and wandered far from his ways. Jeremiah 3:21 New Living Translation (Note: This NLT is from my Holy Bible People’s Parallel Edition).
Now let me make the connection for you in these scriptures. I was praying for a family member who seems to have just lost their way and gotten off track. I was praying for them and Proverbs 22:6 came to my mind, and then Deuteronomy 31:6 came to my mind, and then I heard the Holy Spirit say…it’s only a matter of time for these two scriptures to manifest in my family member’s life!!! He was trained up in the way that he should go as a child, and now that he is older, we can be assured that his training is still there, it didn’t DEPART from him. And God is still with him because the Bible says He will never leave us or forsake us.
Let’s take a look at the definitions of these three words:
Depart means to leave. Proverbs 22:6 said when we are trained up in the way that we should go, the training will never LEAVE us.
Forsake means to turn away from entirely. In Deuteronomy 31:6, that means the Lord will never turn away from us!!! He is always with us, even when we appear to be lost.
Wander means to move about without a fixed course, aim or goal. That means that even though my family member may be moving about in an aimless way right now, he has everything he needs within, according to the scripture to get back on the right track with God….it’s just a matter of time!!!
I pray that my conversation with God encourages you in a mighty way today! It’s just a matter of time…so hold on to your training and know that God is always with you!!! And I even prayed for those who didn’t get trained up as a child. I pray that they will have an encounter with a God-trainer today so they too can know how to seek God’s wisdom and will for their life!
