Keep Going
Keep Going!
WHAT DID GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING
Today is the last day of the 1 Hour Prayer Challenge with my Life Group at church and guess what, I didn’t hear my alarm go off for 5:00 a.m.! It was still going off around 5:19 when I finally heard it. I don’t know if I shared what kind of alarm I use, but I don’t use an actual clock. I use the Amazon Alexa Echo Dot. I have her set to wake me up to Praise & Worship music at 5a.m. This morning, I didn’t hear it go off at 5:00 at all. And I don’t think it strange on the last day of the challenge, that I didn’t hear the music at 5:00 a.m. But I got up anyway and went to pray for an hour when I did hear it at 5:19a.m.
Before I started writing the blog this morning, I just read on my Life Group accountability text message that my Life Group Leader apparently didn’t hear her alarm clock go off either!!! Now isn’t that something? On the last day? Now we have been doing this challenge for 83 days and on the last day…I didn’t hear my alarm and she didn’t either? All I had to say to the group was…can’t stop, won’t stop, regardless of the alarm clock. LOL!
I know that God is super proud of me for taking on this life-changing challenge and the enemy thought an imperfect completion would throw me off my game, but NOPE, not at all. For me to wake up 82 days early to pray is a major milestone in my life that will forever be the lynch pin to the NEW THING God did in my life. I started the prayer challenge on Monday, February 18, 2019 with 15 minutes of prayer time and officially ended the challenge today, May 11, 2019 with 60 plus minutes of prayer time!! So while the challenge has ended, can’t NOTHING stop me now. Praying is officially apart of my daily living. It’s a lifestyle change that I made through daily repetition. It’s the time I get to spend with God. It’s the only way I want to start my day. I LOVE IT!
I am super proud to announce that I am officially an early riser who starts the day with one hour of prayer time! WOOO HOOOO!!!! Thank you Jesus!
Okay, just had to document and share this major milestone in my life and give honor to God for ALL that He has done and will continue to do in my life.
So what did the Holy Spirit say this morning after I prayed from corner to corner in my house this morning?
Keep praying.
Keep following my instructions.
Keep talking to me and listening to me.
Just keep on keeping on with everything that you are doing.
Don’t let the lack of the right tools keep you from building a firm foundation on MY WORD. Get whatever you need to go deeper in My Word.
Everything you need is in the Word!
I’m really proud of where you are and I got you right where I want you (y’all this made me smile the biggest smile and of course my eyes watered up).
Keep relying on ME for EVERYTHING! I AM the know-it-all.
Keep preparing and don’t get weary in preparation season.
Don’t be getting all overwhelmed. Just follow and obey my instructions daily so you won’t get behind. Some days you will have more assignments/instructions than others.
Always be ready to obey.
Now that was a mighty conversation with the Holy Spirit and I felt so good when I walked out of my prayer closet! It’s the perfect way to start my SATUR-YAY!
Now if you’re new to blog, remember, I pray on Sundays but I don’t blog my conversation. I’ll catch back up with you Monday. With that being said, I want to take this moment to wish every MOM who is reading this blog a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY. I pray that you know how proud God is of you. He wants to tell you that Himself so rise early tomorrow morning and let Him tell you in your prayer time. Tomorrow morning is a great morning to start praying everyday.
