Lemme Ask the Lord

How is your discipline with time these days? I know for me, I have constantly been trying to create these schedules to operate within. Schools are closed for the rest of the year. My new online business is starting to flourish and the kids are learning how to do school online. It’s been a significant shift and just like the Holy Spirit said yesterday, He can change your life in an instant!
This morning the Holy Spirit reminded me that I should always be seeking His divine perspective in my day-to-day decisions. That means I should be getting His perspective on my new schedule, how to handle the kids new distance learning, how to navigate and balance my assignments and their assignments, all under one roof.
Here’s my conversation from this morning with Holy Spirit. It felt more like a conversation we had already had, but one that warranted Him to revisit some areas with me. He also told me to go back and read what He has said in the past (so that means I’ll be re-reading some of our older conversations today).
Holy Spirit said:
I am your reference point.
Don’t procrastinate.
Be industrious as you trust Me.
Sow seeds in the morning.
Today is the tomorrow that you were looking for yesterday.
Talk to me about your choices NOW vs LATER.
Don’t wait until the end of time to talk to Me because we WILL talk about all of your choices.
Choose to talk to me NOW, so that then when we talk, it will be me saying, well done thy good and faithful servant.
Live with the end in view.
Think NOW about Later (eternity).
Ask Me how to spend every penny you get because I gave it to you.
Ask Me the best way to invest everything you receive.
The Holy Spirit is reminding me to talk everything over with Him daily. I can’t just assume I know what to do in a situation even though I pray daily. He is saying, talk to Him specifically about every matter, ever decision, every choice, every penny, every dollar, every thing!
I keep hearing…Lemme ask the Lord. Lemme ask the Lord. Wait, lemme ask the Lord. Hold on, lemme ask the Lord.
Lemme = Let me (for the people that are like…what is lemme). LOL!
Bottomline: Ask the Lord about everything, even the smallest of things. Go back and read what He said in your previous conversations. The answer may be within the pages of YOUR conversations with God.
