When you pray for wisdom and knowledge, expect the Lord to deliver! Matter of fact, when you pray for anything that is in alignment with the Word of God, expect for it to be delivered. And speaking of delivered, I was set free on another level this morning in the prayer closet!! And I am so excited that I hope I can get it out in a way for you to get this freedom too!!
See, this morning was a full cleansing kind of morning. The Holy Spirit was removing every bit of residue of sin that had been hidden and un-confessed SPECIFICALLY! When I say it was like the Holy Spirit had one of those Power Sprays and He was removing old sin residue in every nook and cranny of my life. I was calling out people’s names that I haven’t called out in over 20 years for some.
So how did all this come up? Last night I was watching a minister named Kevin L.A. Ewing on one of my favorite prophets, Dr. Alexis Maston periscope. Now if what I just said made you say, what now? I was basically watching a conversation between a minister and a prophet on an app called Periscope. LOL! Because I know some of my listeners almost got lost in the sauce with that one. But anyway, as a person who prays, I am always praying for God to take me deeper and higher in Him. Colossians 2:19 says,
and they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For he holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it. Colossians 2:19
But when I pray this scripture, I pray it as “Let me increase in the knowledge of God.” I got this from my Prayers That Rout Demons book and if you look at different translations, you can see that in context. But let me move on. So I was watching this conversation last night and Minister Ewing taught me some things that blew my mind! He talked about dreams. And I can’t go into everything he said, but the one thing that stood out was that he said, dreams give you the target on what to pray specifically about. Now of course I was new to this concept and his teachings, but I immediately got that part. I had been having dreams of old boyfriends, or just old “situationships” and I didn’t know why these people were coming up. But what’s interesting though is the pattern of who was coming up in my dreams. It was people that I had sinned with. Yup. I am just going to be transparent as ever today y’all because I ain’t got time to play with the enemy no more, you hear me.
So when Minister Ewing taught this last night, I realized that there were some covenants that I had made with people in sin that I had not renounced or annulled! Y’all, like I said, this is all kind of new to me. Now when I got my book Prayers that Rout Demons, I learned a lot more about the type of prayers that I need to be praying. If you want that book, visit the resources page for a link to Amazon. But there is a whole section on annulling ungodly covenants. Let me break it down where you get it. Anybody that you ever had sex with, you created a covenant with them. And the enemy uses that covenant to keep you from reaching your destiny! I know yall, it’s so deep that I was like… Holy Spirit please help me deliver this message in a way that will make yall seek God and His Word for more revelation.
Again, this morning, the HOLY SPIRIT POWER SPRAYED my life as I was renouncing and breaking demonic covenants that I had made YEAR AND YEARS ago! Now the first time I heard this was when a friend of mine told me that me and my now ex husband (whose a great friend now) didn’t have a chance at marriage because of all the spiritual covenants made before marriage and if I had not broken or annulled those before marriage, those spirits were all up in and through our marriage. No wonder we ended up getting divorced!!
Now the conversation me an the Holy Spirit had was this:
Continue to study my Word.
All you need is there.
I wired you with everything you need to live and reach the destiny that I have for you.
Seek Me first always
Grow in knowledge of me. It’s the key to reaching your destiny.
This morning I found myself singing an old tune that we used to sing when I was younger. The lyrics say:
Search me Lord. If you find anything that shouldn’t be, take it out and strengthen me. I wanna be right, I wanna be saved, I gotta be whole.
Today, I am more free than I have ever been. I want to encourage you to ask the Lord to search you so that He can remove any residue of old sin from your life. The enemy wanted you to forget about that one time you did that one thing. You didn’t even remember, but you created a covenant and that demonic covenant needs to be broken so that you can move forward in wholeness with who God created you to be.
