Praise Your Way Through the Process!
WHAT DID MY LORD GOD SAY TO ME THIS MORNING?
My Daily Conversations With God
This morning I had a moment where I was thanking God for delivering me from old life. I started thinking about where He has brought me from and I just couldn’t stop saying, “thank you Lord.” It made me think about something I had heard a lot growing up in church: If I had 10,000 tongues, I still couldn’t thank you enough. That line right there was more true than ever this morning for me. I wasn’t sure about that saying so I got curious enough to Google it. Low and behold, it’s scripture!!!
O Lord my God, You have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all Your wonderful deed, I would never come to the end of them.” Psalm 40:5 NLT
I looked at a bunch of translations and I couldn’t find the one that specifically said if I had 10,000 tongues, I still couldn’t thank you enough, but I can easily see how that scripture translates into that. And the point is giving God praise for all that He has done and All that He is doing!!
We can get caught up in all that is going on negative in our lives, or all that is going on in the world and find ourselves only focused on the problem. But if I shift my mind to ALL THAT THE LORD HAS DONE FOR ME…I immediately began to praise the Lord. It makes me think about that song: when I think about Jesus, and what He’s done for me, when I think about Jesus and how He set me free, I can dance dance dance dance dance dance dance all night! And y’all know I had to go find it on YouTube!!
Y’all listen to the song? She said: ain’t nobody mad but the devil. Guess what we don’t care. If he don’t like it when we praise Him, he got to get up and get out of here!! Get outta here! Get outta here! Get your stuff and your satchel. Get outta here!
Listen to the song y’all! LOL!! Laugh in the enemy’s face this morning and tell him to get up out of here!
He wants you to be down and out. But you can’t be down when you lift your hands up in praise!!
I said you can’t be down when you lift your hands up in praise. Open your mouth and praise the Lord!
Praise your way through the process! Whatever process you are in…praise your way through it!
This morning the Holy Spirit said:
Adopt my perspective on life as revealed in my Word.
Let your life reflect MY character.
Don’t be prideful because that’s not Me.
Keep interceding on behalf of others.
I will protect you.
Keep being obedient and you will see restoration!
This morning, I came by the podcast to encourage you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Praise Him while you wait on Him. Praise Him instead of trying to figure it out. Praise Him when it looks like it ain’t gonna work in your favor. Praise Him in the process and watch how He will favor you with progress…towards His expected end. He knows what He is doing! Amen!
