Pray Along With Me!
So I have a confession. During the challenge, I am always encouraging everyone to PRAY WITH THE REPLAY. It's in all emails. It's on my social media platforms. It's the way I tell people to NOT MISS by simply praying with the replay of the YouTube LIVE from that day. Even here in the OABG Online Community, I have posted the YOUTUBE videos of the 7 Day Prayer Challenge for each day. All you have to do is hit play! That's it! You just have to HIT PLAY and PRAY with the REPLAY!
Well guess what? I had never done it!! 😩 I know! I know! You're shocked! Don't be! LOL! See, in true transparency, I have always had this thing about watching replays, re-runs, or listening back IF I WAS PRESENT IN THE MOMENT! Now get this. I am not saying I don't watch replays or reruns. I am saying when I was THERE, I typically have a hard time going back. Also when it comes to my own voice, I honestly didn't like to hear the playback on meeeeee! Yikes! Wait! I am over it officially, but just telling yall made me go back to that place. LOL!
So this morning, Holy Spirit wakes me up. Now mind you, I had told Holy Spirit last night that I wanted to wake up earlier than I had been waking up since the 7 Day challenge ended. See after the challenge, I tend to shift to a not-so-early prayer time. LOL! Buuuuuuuuuut...those later start times have me feeling like I am rushing or running late.
Back to this morning. Holy Spirit wakes me up. I start thanking Him and worshipping. I even turned on some T Y Bello for background music. Then I got this reminder that I KNOW was from Holy Spirit. PRAY WITH THE REPLAY! You encourage others to do it, but you haven't done it. (insert morning wake up slap)! So without any further hesitation, I got on up and shifted to August Edition: Day 1 of 7 Day 1 Hour Prayer Challenge. Y'all, THIS GUIDED me right on into the river! I mean who knew? LOL! I don't know if I had preconceived notions about it or the fact that I had already done it, but it was SOOOO POWERFUL! You hear me! POWERFUL! It was like Holy Spirit was looking at me like..."SEE, I tried to told you!" 🤣🤣🤣
I worshipped. I prayed. I raised my hands. I prayed. I wrote in my journal. Oh what a time that was had.
It made me realize that sometimes you can't go at this prayer life on your own. You sometimes need a PUSH. And yes I know that acronym can mean: pray until somethings happens. But today I mean the literal definition of PUSH: force, thrust, propel, press, plunge, nudge, poke, elbow. I needed to be elbowed by the HOLY SPIRIT this morning so that I could PLUNGE into the RIVER! I am so glad I was obedient!
