How Do You KNOW Me?
Today we engaged with the Holy Spirit by praying in tongues for 50 minutes. I believe the Lord wants you to spend more time with Him. God is Spirit and that's why when we talk to Him, we pray in the spirit through our heavenly language or our tongues.
This prayer challenge is designed to get you to have more engagement with God and increase that engagement over 7 days. After we pray, we listen and write what we see, hear, smell, and even taste...with our spiritual senses!!! This requires practice. This requires devotion. This requires us being intentional about getting up and getting into the presence of God.
This morning, I heard the Lord say that a lot of us know OF Him, we don't really know Him personally. 😮💨 The scripture that came to mind was Psalm 46:10 where it says Be still and KNOW that I am God.
Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our High Tower and Stronghold). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! Psalm 46:10-11 AMPC
So the Lord give us instructions:
Be still. That means sit down somewhere and get still. Stop with all the haste and rushing and doing this and that. Be still.
Know. He said for us to KNOW that He is God. So I asked the Lord, how will I know? He sent me looking up the definition of the word KNOW. Per Google dictionary, Know means to be aware of through observation, inquiry, or information. Know also means to have developed a relationship with someone through meeting and spending time with them.
I heard Holy Spirit then say: Many have not met Me for themselves. They have been introduced to Me in church or other places, but they have not spent time with Me alone to really KNOW Me. Many only know OF Me, but they don't really know Me.
Whew! I felt the weight of that word from the Lord. What came to my mind after hearing that was the story in the Bible where Moses had been with the Lord and when he came off the mountain, his face was shining (Exodus 34:29-35).
That's when I heard Holy Spirit say: There will be a knowing from others that you have been in My Presence. It will be all over you.
The word KNOW just kept lingering as I wrote down everything I was hearing the Lord say to me...AFTER having engaged Him in praying in the spirit. Some of this I actually heard as I was STILL PRAYING.
Another scripture in Acts 19:15 came to mind where an evil spirit said: Jesus, I know. Paul I know about. But who are you? The word KNOW was highlighted to me because these sons of a Jewish priest were using the name of Jesus that they heard Paul using, were trying to cast out the evil spirit. And the evil spirit spoke back and said: Jesus I KNOW. Paul I KNOW about. But who are you?
See we can't do what have authority to do, such as cast out demons and heal the sick, and raise the dead, if we don't know Jesus Christ for ourselves and have a personal, intimate relationship.
We have met Him and confessed our belief in Him, but we haven't spent time to develop a real relationship. We develop that real relationship through prayer. God is spirit so that's we we pray in the spirit (tongues). That's what the 7 Days to 1 Hour Prayer Challenge is designed to equip the saints to be consistently developing our relationship with God.
I encourage you today...set aside time and pray with the replay. Get to know our God on another level spiritually as you engage with Him and come to KNOW that He is God.

SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
Pray this Prayer Out Loud:
Say Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died for my sins. I believe that you rose again for my justification. Right now, I receive you Jesus into my heart as my Savior, my Lord, and my King. I declare that the power of sin, Satan, hell, and the grave is broken over my life. From right now and forever, I am a child of God. I walk in the newness of life. Amen!

THIS IS FOR EVERY BELIEVER TO HAVE FREELY, just like SALVATION!
Lord, I believe I am your child. I have Your spirit living in me and now I want you to fill me to overflow with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. I receive it, just like I received my salvation. Thank you LORD, for filling me! In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Now that you have received, you will want to GROW in your new gift and use it daily! Open your mouth and begin to speak by faith. You will start it and Holy Spirit will quicken you as you open your mouth. Begin by praising the Lord saying Hallelujah over and over and then allow Holy Spirit to take over! You won’t understand and you shouldn’t try to. This is your heavenly language!
