Prayer Requests Answered Before I Finish Asking!

This morning I want to start off with some instructional words of encouragement: Open your Bible and read it.
Yup! That’s what I want to encourage you to do today. When you read the Bible, it comes alive and reads you. This morning, I had to switch up the routine a bit. I had a long day yesterday and a short night last night. I wish I could have slept the day away and worked in the night since the timing of the two would have been preferred in the opposite.
I got up to the praise and worship music crooning from my echo dot and I wanted to just stay there. I started talking to God right from my bed, just thanking Him. One thing I have learned over the last year of this journey to a closer walk with God, is to keep it simple. My mind tends to pull toward making things more complex that aren’t complex. This morning, I kept it simple. I didn’t make it hard. That helped me tremendously this morning. I needed to be brought back to the simple: wake up, give the Lord praise for WHO He IS, give thanks, repent from any thoughts or actions that missed the mark on per His commands, make my requests known to Him, and finish it off with more thanks and praise.
I prayed and then grabbed my Bible because don’t you know that when you don’t think you’re hearing anything from God, opening your Bible is like turning Him up in your headphones. Woo Wee, that’s a Word right there.
When I opened up my Bible, I turned the Holy Spirit up in my headphones when I flipped to Isaiah 65, specifically verses 21-24.
21-22 People will build houses and get to live in them—they will not be used by someone else. They will plant vineyards and enjoy the wine—it will not be drunk by others. Like trees, my people will live long lives. They will fully enjoy the things that they have worked for. 23 The work they do will be successful, and their children will not meet with disaster. I will bless them and their descendants for all time to come. 24 Even before they finish praying to me, I will answer their prayers. Isaiah 65:21-24 Good News Translation
You will notice that I bolded my absolute favorite section of this scripture, which is Isaiah 65:24: Even before they finish praying to me, I will answer their prayers.
The Holy Spirit said to me, “nothing that you do is in vain, I see everything you do and I see your heart. Get excited, stay excited and don’t let anything or anyone take your excitement of what’s to come from me. Let nothing steal your joy.”
If you still got your headphones turned up, press repeat on that last verse and continue to be encouraged today as you pray because guess what, even before you finish praying…God will answer you!! That’s definitely worth repeating all day. Oh thank you Holy Spirit. That means when I pray all throughout the day He is answering me even before I finish…throughout the day!! Thank you Jesus!!
Whatever you are praying for…it’s already being answered!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m excited that even before I finish the conversation, God is already working it out in my favor!!
